A weak tec tools, you will feel that you talk with no one My order take 2 hours to arrived and it came cold! The customer service is very bad and not helpful at all
NUMEROUS TIMES I have received confirmation that the order is confirmed only to get a call at the last minute before delivery to say that “sorry the restaurant is closed and I will be reimbursed.” Thanks for the wasted time and the fact that the other kitchens have closed. I have since spoke to the restaurant, Smood say it’s the fault of the restaurant. But this has happened with multiple restaurants so it’s a SMOOD problem not a restaurant problem. Customer service costs 0.99c to call. This is a scandal to discourage you from calling. Which means you can never solve the problem in real time. Oh and now the app is kicked me out and won’t allow me to reset my password. NOT A RARE OCCURENCE
I used to love Smood - a great range of food, delivered on time. Sadly, for the past few months it’s been shocking. Constantly late and half with wrong or missing orders. What’s worse is having to pay 0.99chf to contact them when they mess up. Also, if the order is wrong, they refuse to give you a refund and instead credit it to your account to force you to order again. I’m done with them.
SMOOD has been amazing and a life saver during the pandemic and a fantastic home delivery service be it for groceries or drinks
The main issue with this app are that during busy periods food is often delivered between 30-60 mins after the stated delivery time. This is usually 1.5 - 2 hours after placing the order. A delivery wait time of over 1 hour is unacceptable in my opinion, regardless of how busy it is. Worse than that, Smood customer service repeatedly refuses to give full refunds for deliveries that are significantly delayed. Recently they offered to compensate by just CHF 3.67 for a meal that totalled CHF 36.71 and was delivered 2 hours after ordering - a full one hour after their estimated delivery time! Other than timing issues, the restaurant selection section is often confusing to navigate, and some restaurants i previously marked as favourite have now disappeared from the app entirely.
So tired of emails saying that they are extremely busy so expect a delay in food delivery as well as orders simply being wrong. Have used Smood since the start but the service is really not up to scratch. Have started using Uber eats instead as they are simply more reliable.
The app is buggy. When you have issues with your order they ask you to pay for customer support. Really bad customer support.
The delivery from Smood is very reliable. The food always arrives warm. The only issue is that the app doesn’t always update the order status. Should needs to be resolved.
Order tracking didn't work; half the order missing; online support took 20 minutes to respond; no refund, credit promised in "a few" days
