keeps me motivated
The ease. It’s such a nice step into getting back to stretching. I can make the routines I want and have them playing while I have music or tv going (you gotta do what you gotta do). Quite comprehensive and lots of different areas covered.
While the app runs fine, has a nice interface, and a great selection of stretches there are just so many features it lacks on that makes it feel a bit underwhelming. Between stretches you get a few beeps indicating when to change movements but unless you are constantly watching the screen you don’t know what stretch comes next. It feels like a voice telling you both when to change and what to change to would be a small change but major upgrade to the overall use. There is an on selection of premade stretches and you have the option to change the length of each and even make your own routine but I was hoping there would be much more variety or even adding more weekly to keep things fresh. If I didn’t pay 23 bucks for this app I wouldn’t have written a review but since they now have my money I think letting them know how to improve is a good thing.
Easy to get into a routine and stick with it due to the reminders and the concept of the streak. Categories well thought out and easy to manage to complete daily with a bit of effort!
10 out of 10 would not recommend
Pretty disappointed in this purchase. Way too many stretches rely on knee bends or having full knee engagement. Quote a limited selection of stretches and no modifications offered. If developers are working on this, great, but it feels like a waste of money currently.
Bend can be done at my pace in terms of difficulty ( I haven’t stretched in a long time and was afraid of getting hurt). Bend can target my neck areas if needed. (I wanted to also try to focus on my neck. It has always caused me problems from a past injury.)
I am so upset with this purchase. Basically paid 40 dollars (half price “deal”) for a one year subscription with no trial period or video so I guys I am the idiot. Went to use it tonight and I paid for poor quality cartoon photos of figures in the shape of stretches with names underneath and a count down timer. I am on disability payments and cannot afford to be taken in by apps like this that I thought would help me regain health and range of motion. Very Sad.
Tries to pressure you into accepting a “one-time only” subscription offer before you’ve even had the chance to try the app. Hard pass, don’t even care what comes after.
