Sync - Secure cloud storage

Overall Sync is great, and I have been very glad I switched from Dropbox. Just one big annoying problem. Accessing file structures from iOS devices is very slow. It can take minutes to bring up a list of sub-folders, and then minutes again to bring up the next level down. This part should be instantaneous. Once you locate a file, it actually downloads quite fast, but folder structures seem too difficult for Sync. This should be a big priority to fix.

Can’t login since latest update. When it is working, it’s slow and linear navigation makes moving between files/folders clunkier.

I’ve tried a few and find that this is the best yet. I’m able to access all my precious files over several devices with ease.

Simple, reliable, fast

I work between PC, Mac, and mobile devices. Access to my files in Sync is instantaneous. I can literally save on one computer and open on another immediately. It’s easily accessible from all platforms, and has a clean easy to use interface. No more scratching around trying to find the file I’ve just saved! Great time saver and so useful!

Bumping this. Once again “bug fixes” is all I see. Why has this app been in maintenance mode for so long? I’m also on the receiving end of complaints from my collaborators about how slow downloads are. Please get better. Edit Nov 2023: come on team, I can’t even listen to an mp3 because your player code can’t handle device rotation.

I used the free version for a while and that worked OK. Then I upgraded to a paid plan and it stopped working. Nothing was sync’s to the cloud, even after leaving it for 24 hours. Cancelled my account and went back to Dropbox. Note that the “money back guarantee” is only good for the first 30 days after you upgrade, even though you have to pay for an annual subscription.

On my iPad Pro running 16.5, it starts up, the blue screen comes up and then nothing! Useless.

I used it with the free allocation and it seemed to work fine , as soon as I upgraded my subscription which was not in fact monthly but a full year in advance , and in $US I have had nothing but problems...takes forever to transfer videos and pics , constantly telling you that it's encrypting your file or uploading and then completely crashes . Total waste of money . I've given up attempting to transfer any files ..the amount of bug fixes is an indicator that it's flawed ..do yourself a favour and avoid this app.
