GCash

Scam app. They take your money before verification and then reject to verify and refund. As a foreigner I registered, deposited money and then it required verification to use my money. Verification only for the residents. So I’m not able to verify. They reject to provide refund. Even they took my money easily without verification. Scam!

My ticket number is 77031978 . They can’t review and make verification of my profile for 3 weeks already after I provided for all documents they asked for

1. It’s not possible stop receiving their spam messages (sms and email). 2. There’s no support at all. They use biometrics, but they cannot verify you as their user. 3. Promo-promo-promo. Do you really think people like it? 4. If you want to retake your photo - start over 🙈 5. Does anyone like this app?

This was one of the worst support experience I have ever had in my life so far, I ordered Gcash mastercard to my apartment and paid for it more than 10 days ago (guys from lazada deliver heavy parcels just in a few days I am in Pampanga) after that I contacted the worst support ever, support guy who's name Raver D. has been reply to my messages very slowly, more than just 1 day, he has been asking questions that doesn't make any sense and in the end he closes my ticket saying my card has been delivered to Jonathan Banaag, but damn what's wrong with you? My name isn't Jonathan, isn't it obvious? I have been waiting for more than 10 days, I paid for the card in order you guys deliver my card to some stranger with all my personal information? really? and after all of that this guy closes my ticket as solved. After this you can make your own opinion about how your support works, and saying it was worst I didn't joke. And as it was your mistake I expect you to solve it ASAP, and how courier delivered my card without calling me a single time? how this works???

Tried the overseas function - stuck at loading after registering device. Window after entering MPIN not showing up…

No more pre-paid cards so I signed up. Did some preliminary checks before loading 2,000 pesos. Paid 1 time for phone and tried to upgrade to verified. Failed so I decided to stay basic. Now it asks me to selfie scan for security reasons. I try to log on and it takes me to the selfie menu. No backing out, no option. I can’t access my funds, I can’t transfer my funds, I can’t submit a ticket (complaint), I can’t call their hotline (too many calls), I can’t email complaints (robo-reply to go to help menu ), help menu doesn’t contain my situation so it defaults to “keep trying “. Tried all suggestions from GCash and YouTube with no success. Looks like I lost my money. And they charge for account inactivity.

I used to use GCash all the time but the app becomes less and less reliable and gets more and more errors and blocks functions or access without good reason. Now I’m making purchases using other more reliable systems and app.

They stole my money and it took them 2 months to review my account then they tell that the information they asked to send does not match their records. Total lies and inept customer service

When I first signed up for GCash things worked well. The app has the basic functionality that was needed. Stuff worked. However I have had two incidents in the past two months where GCash has just failed miserably to provide service, resolve account access problems and seems to have either the most under funded on incompetent support organsiation I have seen. After replacing a lost phone I spent 3 weeks trying combine support the app was broken and they had some failed biometrics implementation and no idea how to reset. Endless loop of treating customers like idiots that can’t take a selfie. Then the next month they push a new update with new security feature and again lock me out of access to my funds. Be very wary of GCash these days. It breaks hard and they do not treat you like a customer and will tie up funds for weeks on end.
