Overall good app but would be really great if it would let the user know that the solar system went off. The automatic fuse of the solar system is very sensitive and often switches off because of spikes in the electric grid. As a result the solar system doesn’t produce and sell power to the grid. This may last unnoticed for days unless the user goes to Mysolaredge app daily and checks the status manually. Please improve the app so that it can send push-up notification if the solar system is not operational.

Recently fixed the problem where it ho longer had usage from grid, or percentage from battery/solar/grid.

Graphs don’t display production and consumption in real time… have emailed support and have heard anything back. The app used to work fine but hasn’t been displaying correctly for nearly 2 months.

Thing hasn’t updated since August 15. Uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and it does work on any of the devices.

As a user: I would love some integration with other platforms (apple or google home) so I can start appliances when energy output levels reach a certain volume or at least a notification when my solar has hit a certain output level so I can manually start my appliances

Where is the button to allow charging of our car from the battery

I’ve often found that the graph on the widget doesn't update while the other data is correct. Instead the graph is from the previous day. If I then go into the mySolarEdge app the graph in there is correct. Also, whether the widget graph is updated or not it doesn’t line up with the time scale on the x-axis but it does line up in the app. This is especially noticeable early in the day when the graph is spread across the entire time scale.

Great app but it’s lacking controls for the battery and EV Charger, that I understand can be done by the administrator. Currently my home battery depletes every time my EV charger turns on.

It showed 7kw consumption from midnight till 10am while AGL showed only 2kw for the same date/time period. The app is useless. You can’t rely on it for learning your solar system performance and and making informed decisions. The app had only one job — to show reliable data — and it failed it miserably. Avoid SolarEdge at all cost.

See a feature you like? Sorry, that is only available overseas. Bought a $10,000 battery and want to configure charge/discharge profiles to work with your Time-Of-Use electricity plan? Sorry. Not available to you. Maybe if you pester and harass your installer, they might possess the knowledge on how to use the SolarEdge monitoring platform, or they might not. Either way, SE doesn’t care, and you’re out of luck.
