unable to check in
This APP has sadly not yet allowed me to check in once. Fourth trip on NZ Air. This is not convenient

Checkin 24hrs in advance doesn’t work
I tried to use the app for checking in and although it was in the 24hrs window, it didn’t work
No online check in available
Second time on this trip that pre check in has not been available online, I like to have some choice around seating if possible.

A great , efficient, helpful and friendly Airline.
Needs work
Check in failed, necessitating an early trip to airport. Various boilerplate pieces of info are missing or inappropriate - wasting time. The backup is to phone or visit the website in a browser, both of which are inconsistent and misleading. Sign in to the app is also error prone. Failed to recognize my valid points number - which is quoted inside the app! Looks nice though.

It had been a while since my last trip to NZ but AirNew Zealand made getting from the North to Souths Islands aasy to books flights and hotels using their app. Ans as usual their service was second to none! Thanks for helping make our great vacation to NZ greater!
Online check in
I’ve used online check in with many airlines around the world but the Air NZ experience is extremely underwhelming… if I could give zero stars I would… complete rubbish
App would not allow me to check in
The app would not allow me to check in. It said I needed an outbound flight, which I have. In another airline. Totally useless.
Service
I had a wonderful crew from LA to Auckland on November 30th. They took care of me as I couldn’t walk anymore because of my Osteoarthritis in my knee, they moved me up so I didn’t have far to go to the washroom as I was in steady on my feet. Today I just happened to check in and my gate has changed, so I’m happy they gave me heads up on the change.
