I booked an airnz flight not realising 3/4 of the legs were actually operated by Singapore. The long and short is I am unable to do advance seat select via either airlines app, and customer service reps at both airlines have been able to manually help. The flight seems to weirdly sit between them with neither having pre flight control . I only hope check in at the airport works!

Cannot use airpoints for changing flight with flexi change

I have travelled millions of miles on many airlines. The air miles claims process is by far the worst I have ever experienced - including the days when you needed to post in your boarding passes. Firstly, I bought my family a return ticket from LHR to ALK. The app does not recognise the ticket numbers for family members and I can’t see you to add their travel miles. Secondly the app only recognises one leg of a 4 leg journey under my name. All of which are on an airnz ticket and 2 segments of which were booked on a physical air Nz plane. The process is on line - but feels like it’s been designed to minimise airpoints claims. For an airline that generally has great service this is an epic failure. Some years I travel over a million miles a year - mostly in business class. I have never encountered something like this…

Inadequate information how to get through the process of where to pick up bags , where to check in for where , can you stay airsaide at Singapore and use the Aerotel . I’m trying to get back to Manchester from Wellington and get a sleep at Singapore Aerotel . It looks like they’ve booked me through to Singapore and I will have to pick up bags there and re check in . It’s poor . I don’t know if I’ll be able to use the hotel which is pre paid and very important to us . I won’t be using NZ air again after this .

Cannot get my app off UK settings and consequently paying more than double for seat selection. Tried myself, tried your helpline, tried staff at airport. Husband is having no problem with his app.

Terrible app. Go native and cut the wrapper rubbish

Can’t check in for flight as app requests country passport was issued in and doesn’t accept London

Please enable storing of passport details so you don’t have to rekey every single trip. It needs a proper overhaul and detracts form the excellent planes and staff

Taking a world trip from the UK with Air NZ we were unable to check in before arriving at the airport. Quite stressful.
