Delayed flight

12.5 hour delay and the customer service said there is no compensation due, as long as they change my flights for free.

I have flown ANZ since 2005, over a dozen times. This reservation took me 10 attempts before I could complete it and pay for it. The app kept sending me back to the original page to sign in again. I had to repeat the identical information 10 times before the app finally worked. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Terrible app

I have had multiple problems while checking in for my flight on the app. Going in coming from New Zealand you can check in for your flight 24 hours before the flight the app would not let me check in and I had to check in at the airport at the New Zealand desk. I leave tomorrow less than 24 hours the app will still not let me, check in for my flight even though I’m using Zealand VPN it says that my flight check-in is not open yet. I will have to check in at the airport yet again.

Actual use during travel disappointment

- doesn’t remember participating airline membership numbers previously entered via the web based site - doesn’t connect the required departure ticket information for international travelers, which prevents the online check in process from completing. - even though our departure ticket was also an Air New Zealand flight.

You canceled our flight to Auckland twice. We had Premium Economy seats and we used OneUp upgrade to Business class. We now have no seat assignments and your web site says you will assign seats when we check in. This terrible and I am totally upset.

Needs work

Regularly logs me out of app. Seat assignment feature does not work. Slow.

Laborious

Very hard to see print, unknown extra charges added on for seats, extra bag charge unreasonable! No email notice when you could do advance check in. The Covid restriction from US has been rescinded but they are still asking!

Average

Great to book flights and sometimes make changes. Check in and flight updates are iffy at best.
