There has been no acknowledgment from air NZ to say I have a new silver card in the mail or what extra benefits I get , absolutely nothing . I’ve paid for flight in December that should take me to gold on the 6th of January. Instead I get a congratulations your staying on silver . What’s up with this ? You don’t like looking after your customers. It’s real easy I will just fly Qantas .
Every time I try using this app in store to claim points or at home, it gives me an error message saying Internet connection error. This has happened continuously since August 2024 at least.
When you book a flight you have to leave the nice interface for the not as good interface. And it is harder to manage/feels like a annoying add.
Disappointed is probably the best way to describe Air Nz, if it invested as much into providing basic good service and less on gimmicky marketing and safety videos, you might get a flight for a reasonable price that actually flies when it’s meant to, and arrives at the destination you have chosen with your bags going there also, if your lucky enough to have that happen be prepared for narrow seats and ridiculous leg room, oh and if your silly enough to pay for a seat choice it might actually be worse than the random one they assign you, if it wasn’t a complete virtual monopoly you might be able to fly with someone else and avoid getting completely gouged on the price, oh and if something goes wrong, and it probably will, don’t bother trying to call as it will just waste even more of your time as they have optimised that also to ensure they listen intently, and then politely tell you to go jump.
Absolutely impossible to work out how to do this through the app. frustrating and not user friendly!!
Overly complicated
Has been good but now not updating changes to flight times, and still showing the pending departure time hours after we’ve actually arrived
No one is ever there just bots
Cost me nearly $100 extra via taxi fares and duty free does not get paid back for 3 days. Complaining about the flights
