This is not really international
After giving EU phone number for activation it is asked for if I would like to enter international mode. I chose yes and menu points changed to English but everyday still sends notifications in Chinese language :-/ (I do not understand what it wants) For activation of pay function in China as a tourist it asks for my Mastercard data and also a picture about my passport. I do not really trust in AliPay if my sensitive data will be in safe hands until my bank says I can do that. But my doesn’t say anything. No answer from them after more than a one week. AliPay states in the app there are more than 400 partner banks in the world but doesn’t tell that my bank is on the list and has a partnership or not. Not a tourist friendly solution I think. After more development this could be a good tool for tourists but currently at some points it makes me uncertain.
