Apple Store

So having iPhone 8 which runs smoothly but no access to lots of apps even “ Apple store” due to asking for IOS 17 🤦‍♂️ why ?

Who ever keeps updating the phones without permission needs firing. Theres no way all these continuous updates are for our benefit. This is just Just a security breach at this point. i will be changing phone brands asap

I was recently charged a considerable amount of money for an unused app. Apple would not allow a refund, the support team could not say why, they had no power to make decisions and would not allow you to speak to the relevant department (I don’t really know why that team exists other than to gaslight you into thinking Apple care). Also, be warned when you ask to complain there is no such department. Only another faceless feedback page from which you will not receive a response. But they don’t tell you that, they just allow you to think the link they direct you to is complaints. So just be very careful. My situation was an app had been downloaded on my child’s phone, I had planned to cancel it within trial period but it did not appear on his apps list, or mine, when I applied for a refund after the trial was told no. There was no explanation, no discussion. I’m writing reviews where I can so it may help other people.
