Push Notifications

Still not getting any notifications of messages, I have notifications enabled in the app and have given it permissions via iPhone settings. 1 star as you can’t actually see when you have messages.

Not fit for purpose

When members of groups send messages not all members of the group see the messages, notifications are really hit and miss forcing you to keep checking the app for any messages which is really not ideal. I have reported this but have not herd anything from the support team.

Poor

Group chats post wrong author name on messages. Different group members have different views on their device of who posted the group messages. Difficult to post as every nickname is taken and no alternatives suggested!

Group chat working

Our group chat is working fine. Worth trying again now. It’s a relief to use this more secure means.

Terrible

I’ve been forced to use this for work instead of what’s app. Doesn’t let you set up groups, if you log out you lose previous chats and groups (if you finally manage to get added to one). Everyone I know has struggled with this thing. How it’s still running is a mystery to me. Stick to what’s app

Best XMPP for iOS: though that's not saying much!

Stable and reliable in use and setting up accounts is smoother now. Core functionality is solid and easy to use. A recent update claimed to add / improve MUC chat support, and it sorta works if you create a room from the apl but I can't figure out how to join existing rooms, so it's not complete yet - or maybe just missing documentation. I look forward to improvements because this is the best client I've seen so far and each update has made improvements. Thanks!

Doesn't open

Use to work. Stopped randomly. Use to crash before now it just won't work. And after the update still the same problem. Don't download waste of time, lost my contacts and chats. App does not open anymore. Worked a few times before it completely stopped

The best xmpp client so far

Pros: it seems to be more stable In maintaining a connection or even making a connection compared to other xmpp clients i have tried Cons: it randomly quits the app usually when im in the middle of typing a message it doesn't do it often but enough to be a surprise and a tad annoying
