Atoms Reviews

Extremely unfriendly!!

I am reading the book, it’s clean and neat. The app is chaos!!

Amazing app!

Smith Jones Jonathan on

Atoms is an amazing app, yet it lacks lots of basic functionality which makes it unusable for me. No dark theme, no dark icon for iOS and above all no ability to bypass the limit imposed by the app on number of habits. I very well understand that there’s science behind this decision, yet I am able to go with more than 6 habits at a time. I gave 3/5 rating due to my frustration: such an amazing app, advice and UI/UX yet so limited by the people who developed it. Will adjust my rating once some more functionality will be added. Keep up the good work!

Great app

Actiune on

I love it, I've been using it for a couple of months now. However, a couple of things stand out 1. The recent change in UI makes me get less satisfaction out the habit completion. It actually makes it frustrating because: 2. Habits that I created in the trial are locked forever, without any means of deleting or editing them. 3. These dead habits show up first in my list for today. In the compact view I can tick the current habit with no fuss, but pressing a plus is less satisfying than holding on the circle and seeing the bubble get filled up. 4. In the big view I have to scroll down to find my active habit. For a simple habit tracker I still find it overpriced, even for the yearly version. I know 80 bucks is not a huge cost in a couple of countries, but if the purpose is to help as many people as possible, 80 bucks is quite steep for the value given compared to average salary in a lot of countries.

Expensive for what it is

I love the interface and can see great potential for this app; however, having limited habits to track (6 max) even with a paid version is woefully insufficient. Hopeful this will be addressed soon!

Not intuitive to log progress

I have been all over this app and still can’t figure out how to log progress. You’d think after the task is accomplished with the timer in the app, it would automatically count it - but it doesn’t.

This app is good , but not ideal for me

Marc abi frem on

im writing this review for few suggestions i hope developers take them seriously: 1 - App can be faster , app lags when i edit a habbit , it doesn't Close but it lags 2 - Implementing some AI suggestions can be a good addition specially when its intergrated with My habbits 3- please add a search bar in the mindset section 4- please add spotify integration with focus because not everyone use apple music 🙏 5. Some motivational quotes are also good and helpful for extra motivation I hope you take my feedback seriously and waiting for a response soon ...

So much potential

"Atomic Habits" is the best self-help book I've ever read, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. James Clear's newsletters are also fantastic. Unfortunately, the corresponding app falls short of the brilliance of the "Atomic Habits" book. The annual premium price of $80 is not justified, given the limited features currently available. I suggest purchasing a copy of "Atomic Habits" and using a different habit-tracking app for implementation.

Very underwhelming for the price

cbrynt on

The app looks beautiful, but the features are very limited for the price they expect you to pay. This app is worth 20 bucks at best.

Dark mode?

skyleranelson on

Apps without dark mode are almost unusable these days. Is this coming soon? Pretty cool otherwise. People complain about only 6 habits but they’re missing the point of building a habit.

Disappointed

Touché my pup on

I purchased and read Atomic Habits and loved all the tools and strategies the book contained. I credit that book with helping me end nighttime snacking! I enjoyed this app initially until the trial period ended. Unfortunately, this app offers very very little for the price.
