Stopped working recently
Worked well for some years but in recent weeks won’t work properly. Starts searching and just keeps searching even when wifi connection has been made. Won’t return to the control interface to allow normal usage. Interestingly Spotify will stream to the Wave speaker OK. Must be a problem with the app.
Less is more
Very good apps, uncluttered and simple, but I am yet to find out how to check and upgrade my Bose speakers SW via this apps it it’s possible that is.
Hopeless App
Had nothing but trouble ever since I started using this app and program some years ago. My Bose system constantly needs reconnecting and now the app will not connect at all. I have rebooted and deleted app to try and reconnect but now app will not even open. Bose make great sound systems but there wifi connectivity leaves a lot to be desired . I guess that is why they stopped making Soundtouch products.
Buggy
I bought SoundTouch 10 a couple years ago. I was amazed & bought 2 more. Working good all this time until recently, early October 2020. Every-time we wake in the morning, 2 of them have to be powered off physically for them to work again as they drop off the network at night but after power reset, work rest of the day. Next morning same issue again. Funny enough, the original one we bought works perfectly. Never have to reset power. All three now work perfectly well as at 8/4/2023.
19/10/2023 one radio refuses to join the network.

Such poorly designed product in all aspect: software, firmware and hardware. Nothing works perfectly, not user friendly and not durable. Please avoid this Bose.

Awesome product.. only one issue I have noticed. If you have a network that reboots everyday, the SoundTouch app on iOS has difficulty finding SoundTouch device. Rebooting device or network seems to temporarily resolve the issue and the app finds it again.

Seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why my Bose system sometimes shows up as something I can select on Spotify and sometimes not.
Useless updated app.
Put the app on my new ipad. The app indicated to update the SoundTouch. Did that. Lost all my saved stations. It also somehow took them off my old Ipad, and on this stupid new version it is harder to find the stations I had saved.
Well done Bose. Typical. I have sent emails in the past and never received a reply.
