As many have already said, for à premium product to have such a poor system to link its products together that constantly fails, and as many have already said, for Bose not to give a flying….. tells you everything you need to know…. Buy a different product if you intend linking your sound system around the house. Bose, the opposition are better than you!
I’ve enjoyed the SoundTouch set-up, and the flexibility to use Bluetooth etc. when you need it, which in my mind is heaps better than Sonos. But, given that BBC have pulled out of TuneIn, I’ll no longer be able to push a button to access my favourite radio stations. Please can you update the app to support BBC Sounds directly, or provide another way of listening to BBC radio stations.
I have been and having endless trouble with my four loudspeakers that are working on a BT whole home Wi-Fi system volume controls don’t work seems to take forever there seems to be time lag the speed on my system is very high so I’m not sure what’s going on the one thing I did notice was that the app I am using is now one year old and I can’t count how many upgrades I’ve had from Apple on the operating system and other such systems I wonder if those are not doing a great deal with this app anymore if not pretty expensive.I feel this product is really now out of date and its functionality is somewhat question so please check it out before you purchase really to avoid disappointment
I would be delighted to write a positive review for Bose's latest update to their discontinued product, the SoundTouch 30. As a long-time user of Bose products, I can confidently say that this update is a true testament to the company's dedication to delivering top-notch audio experiences. As for the stereo support for multiple speakers, it's great to know that users of this product are still hopeful that this will one day be achievable. With Bose's track record of innovation and customer-focused approach, I have no doubt that they will continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of audio.
I currently listen to radio via the TuneIn service, but BBC Radio will not be available for much longer. Are there any plans to add BBC Sounds to the available services?
Bose make fantastic sounds systems, but their ability to develop a decent app is woeful. This app is unstable and constantly states that it has lost connectivity to WiFi and will not work. The customer service is a complete shambles and almost non existent. I’ve found that deleting the app from my phone and reinstalling resolves the problem, however this is far from ideal, to be fair it’s pants! And the problem returns without warning. Bose, get your act together before you drive me to buy Sonos.
Clarity of sound from stations around the World
This review is for the app, as the hardware is fine. I’ve already began getting rid of my Bose kit and have replaced most of it with Sonos. Constant disconnections, unable to find speakers, poor updates, almost no functionality. I have absolutely no idea how it’s possible for an app to be so bad from a company like Bose but they’ve managed it. Latest fun and games are now one speaker never appears as an option to play on from Spotify despite it showing as available and ready in the Bose app. Resets, updates, nothing fixes it. Absolute garbage.
Bose need to add BBC Sounds to the add services package or we are not going to have easy access to BBC services on Bose speakers.
I have a SoundTouch 300 bar and the app frequently can’t find the speaker. It is such a frustrating rigmarole to re connect the app and sound bar. I could honestly throw the whole set up in the bin.
