It’s the best mail app I have ever used, but it needs some fixes and improvements to make it even better. 1. A major issue is the delay in receiving emails, and further delay in updating the home screen widget. Even when the Canary Mail app has received the email, the home screen widget is not updated instantly; even after a few minutes, it doesn’t update. Users always have to open the app first to get the widget updated. 2. Please allow us to import a photo to use as a signature properly, and also to resize the signature photo by centimeters. Currently, the only way to have an image as a signature is to copy and paste it, but it pastes as a very large image with no way to resize it. Additionally, it doesn’t work when the recipient receives it, as they see a blank missing image. 3. Another improvement needed is the title shown at the top. When we use an email address as the account description, the text is very long and half of it is hidden. So, please make the long text scroll slowly from left to right or right to left, or make it smaller to fit the entire text at the top when the description is long. 4. For multiple recipients in the read receipts section, it only shows as “1 more recipient,” and when we press on it, it only shows the email we have sent with no mention of how many recipients have read it. Please implement a section to show who has read the email when sending an email to multiple people.

Been having problems with emails going missing. Where has the archive feature gone? Have I lost the emails in there? Generally not happy with this app at the moment.

The app does what it does on the tin. It constantly tries to push the AI stuff in your face but I understand that they have to cater for all users! As other reviews have mentioned throughout the years, where it falls short by a mile is their support team. I have had the displeasure of having to deal with them and they are slow and unhelpful. Hands up one of the worst support teams I’ve had to deal with. On average, I was getting replies from them every 6 days (checking spam daily just in case) and in the end I gave up and moved to a different email client. I don’t mind paying for a subscription, as long as it’s commensurate with the quality of the service. Based on the support I’ve received from Canary, this is not the case and the support team cost them the subscription of my team.

Why can't I on my iPad mini, select a colour for the text and font and then make it my default? Also, when you look in the sent folder, the text looks black even if set to blue? This is a paid app there should be a way of making our preference for coloured text me font our default, it's a pain in the bum having to do it for every email we write!

Updated Mar 24: I still really like canary and it’s what I use day to day. Overall it’s excellent, really nicely designed and has just enough features without feeling bloated. A really well thought out application. There are a few things keeping it from the top stat though. Firstly the calendar integration is poor. I can see events but not interact. For example if I’m invited it’ll create a duplicate event whereas both the inbuilt calendar and outlook allow direct inviting. And the notifications seem a little patchy. I keep getting duplicates and not always for new emails. It has previously worked fine so I’m confident it’ll get resolved.

I’ve tried many different email apps over the years, but Canary mail is the one I feel most at home with. UI is similar to Apple mail, but functionality is miles ahead, and now they’ve added integrations with Asana and Todoist, it’s better than ever. I use Todoist a lot, and being able to add emails as tasks directly from the app, rather than emailing them to a project, improves my productivity.

Best app ever made my life and saved my time on my daily routine and personal and work life .

I have been checking the top email apps available and come across this one, in summary it has potential. The big drawback is the lack os email integration, but they mentioned they are working on it. For now is a good email client. My personal opinion is that they have put too much effort on the trending AI integration but didn’t pay attention to the basic like Calendar and integration to for example preview attachments. Will review in few months.

This email app automatically converts attached images to traceable links and some emails sent with this app won’t include any emails actually. Also it breaks the recipient’s privacy as it automatically includes a traceable image. No options to turn them off, it’s just like a c0mmunism software maker.

This is my go to app for all of my mail. It is a great organiser and has so many more functions that are first class. I can organise my day and carry out all my tasks with just this one app.
