Good job
It is adequate, but not amazing
Extreme difficulty accessing old account so made a new one. It is slower than it should be and lacks features that I’d expect to be the cause of the slowness.
Big Improvement
Used this 3 years ago with Google Home and I must say I hated it. Moving into a new place I decided to look up reviews for best smart home bulbs on Wired. Hue come up obviously but then Cync by GE. I was amazed. So I gave the old bulbs a shot. Much better pairing process. I also bought 3 new 100w equivalent bulbs that paired pretty well. 2/3 were first time pairs with the third needing 3 attempts to complete.
Overkill security
I’m using a light strip for my tv but when it comes time to sleep I gotta manually turn it off because the app keeps logging me out forcing me through this 2 step verification and all that takes awhile and is pretty frustrating every time when it’s 4Am and it’s time to crash out but the light is keeping me up and it’s better just to turn it off manually than go through signing in my gmail and on the app to do the verification which idk why it has that when I don’t care about the security of a light atleast add an option for 2 step verification
So bad
It seems to be almost the worst interface to light control that one can imagine.
Stays as one color.
I have the light bulb that is color changing but for some odd reason it only stays as a color that I don’t want. I’ve tried to disconnect the light bulb and reconnect it but it still doesn’t work. I even tried to log out and back in. It’s NEVER done this.
Awful setup
Unable to complete set up . Difficult without keyboard to fill in blanks . Scan feature not accurate changing letters do unable to enter WiFi pass word
