- The Basics: on/off, dim, change color, change white temperature.
- Groups: control all lights in a group easily, including on/off and dimming with one touch from the Home Dashboard.
- Group personalization: choose a LIFX illustration to suit or personalize Group cards with your own pictures.
- Schedules: automate your lights to fade, change color, and turn on/off, all visible in an easy calendar-style view.
- Effects: play with special effects like the music visualizer, fire, move, candle flicker, strobe, color cycle & more, all in one place.
- Scenes: set your lighting just the way you like it and save it for later.
- Themes: a library of one click color combinations for a Group, from ‘Proud’ to ‘Soothing’.
- Paint: with your finger in the app, paint color live onto your LIFX Z, Beam, Tile and Candle.
- Custom color palettes: add your favorite colors to a custom color palette.
- Discover Tab: find How To guides, learn about integration partners, or shop for LIFX

- “Moccupancy”: set irregular schedules to make it seem like you’re home when you’re not.

Very annoying

Trying to re-pair a couple lightbulbs has been a nightmare. I don’t like spending this much money on two lightbulbs for this type of hassle.

We changed our wifi and now it will not connect

I don’t have the box with me anymore because I already connected it. Now that I changed my wifi, it will not connect.

FX Stop Working once App is Closed

Just bought 2 BR30 flood lights and when you select an FX and close the app the effect stops. Updated to latest firmware on IOS and bulbs. $60 for Useless bulbs

BAD Mesh WiFi connection

STOPPED WORKING after I got a new dual band mesh router. They lost WiFi connections every day and would take a long time to reconnect. Last night I decided to set up the lights as new again and it took me over an hour to set up one light bulb and the second one just wouldn’t connect. Now I have one connected and one refused to connect. I tried both setting them up via LIFX app and HomeKit. PLEASE FIX!!!

Update performance is up and down

sometimes an update performs slightly better until another update makes it worse.

Steady Improvements

I’ve used LIFX lights for years now and happy to see an active LIFX once again in both new hardware and improved software. It seems every few weeks there’s a tweak to the app bringing new themes (love the new Space themes) or FX like meteor and now clouds for the new ceiling light which looks AMAZING! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

What is going on!!

Loved the lights!! Now the rhythm doesn’t work at all!! Tried to reset. No luck!! Don’t mess up these lights please!!

You guys need to hire a ux designer. Like badly. I get such a headache trying to use your app.

App constantly crashes and lights are impossible to connect to app.
