Dictionary Linguee

The idea is wonderful, I love that there are well separated example sentences the different meanings, not just a pile of example sentences with little to no context. Keep it up! However, it often just freezes and collapses on me, so I started to prefer other, more stable apps for frequent word translating… such a shame, if it was more stable, I would barely use anything else.

Quick, punctual, easy to use, provides several different & examples texts from the internet. Very useful and helpful for home and professional use.

I’d like to give this a 5 star rating but a dark mode would be absolutely essential. As soon as it’s available I’ll update my review.

Nagyszerű, mint az internetes változat, de ez offline is működik. Nélkülözhetetlen szótárak - a zsebben. Great as the web version, but it also works offline. Indispensable dictionaries - in the pocket.

Ideal for them who speak English and want to learn German too or vice versa. Respect and thanks for it.

Die Übersetzungsbeispiele mit Textpassagen aus vorhandenen mehrsprachigen Vorlagen (von internationalen Gremien, weltweit agierenden Firmen etc.) sind gute Hilfestellung, um sicherzugehen, dass das Wort bzw. die Formulierung im Kontext korrekt angewendet wird. Vielen Dank für diese Tolle App. (Ergänzend hierzu auch unbedingt DeepL anschauen.)

Übersichtlich

Linguee ist meine größte Hassliebe. Linguee ist ein hervorragender Übersetzer. Gerade die Möglichkeit, den Kontext von Übersetzungen zu prüfen, macht Linguee einzigartig. Leider schafft es das Entwickler-Team, wenn überhaupt mehr als eine Person an der App arbeitet, seit Jahren nicht, die App stabil auf aktuellen iOS Geräten zum Laufen zu bringen. Ständig sind manuelle Neustarts erforderlich. App friert immer wieder ein. Schämt euch. Es ändert sich nichts. Sehr schwache Entwickler. Baue euch ne bessere App in der Zeit und das ohne IT-Erfahrung. Wird jetzt deinstalliert.
