Using it for German, and it works very good. Has become my go-to translator. Free, and even with dictionary download option. History of previous words. Many suggestions for each word.

That the app only can work with permission to the local network. Are you serious?!

It is really of amazing high quality, the dictionary content. And the corpus search below the dictionary is super informative. (« how is this word used in practise... ») Only snag is the text size - it does not seem to get larger as i increase the text size globally on my phone.So I need to put on reading glasses.

Keeps me telling I'm not connected to the internet though I am connected to the internet; cannot download dictionaries via mobile data

I really like this application and it helps me a lot in my German learnings. But man, it hangs all the time! I typically switch between Linguee and other apps on my iPad when I translate something: I switch to Linguee, look for a word, switch to another app, then switch back to Linguee in a minute. And here it tends to hang for 10-20 seconds, completely unresponsive. It happens 4 times out of 5 for me. It makes me so angry! Yes, I can just stop using it and look for another dictionary. But if only the app didn't hang it would have been my dictionary of choice.

Good translations, but no dark mode makes it hard for the eyes.

Eigentlich ist das die beste Übersetzungsapp, aber das andauernde Abstürzen macht es wirklich nur noch anstrengend.

Mir erschliesst sich leider nicht die Notwendigkeit der geforderten Einbindung in das lokale Netzwerk um die Funktion der App zu gewährleisten. Die pausch angeführte Begründung lässt leider zuviel Spekulationen offen. Vergleichbare Apps benötigen diese Funktion nicht.

Es werden nicht nur einzelne Worte übersetzt sondern auch die Verwendung/Bedeutung in verschiedenen Fällen
