APP come from 1980s

0421981516 on

It is 2023 and this app feels like coming from 1980s, the screen stuck at sound track selecting page and no way to play, that applies to most of my collections. For the play control, there is only pause or play , forward / backwards/ next episode/ last episode are all missing

Extremely out dated! Synology very disappointing.

Needs lots of work

Does a very poor job of 4K video. It's time to overhaul these apps. They are a GREAT selling point for Synology boxes but not if they age without any TLC. We all realise apps require funding to develop. If you need to monetise them that's better than them being stale and useless.

TVOS App is BROKEN - Please update

SirBed on

The TVOS app is broken beyond use. Please update. It's nearly two years since it was last updated and now is currently so broken that is 100% unusable. C'mon Synology. Stuff like this make me begin to lose faith in your brand. Surely you are aware of this.

Broken with TVOS 14.2

DaveM8686 on

Works fine for the most part, but we desperately need a way to turn off subtitles by default. So sick of having to turn them off for each new episode that starts. Additionally, the Apple TV version is broken since TVOS 14.2. You can no longer pause / rewind / fast forward, and if you go back to the Home Screen you then have to restart the NAS or it says something else is already streaming when you try and play something.

Continuing improvements until it doesn’t work

t3x0z on

Every version of this software get worse. Last version killed search and this version will not allow you to use play pause. If Synology continue to ‘improve” this product it won’t even play videos.

not support with apple tv
