The current rating is completely unjustified IMO. Emby has always been reliable and the iOS app is no different.

The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and the renewal cost is $6.99 USD. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

Apple TV 4k: Audio sync is terrible App froze up in first few minutes of use Wanted to like this. Hope they fix and improve their QA. This should never have been released in its current form. As an evaluator trying for a month, can’t see me using it beyond that.

Invalid user name or login I’ve literally auto filled from key chain and it’s working in the browser. Fail app.
Buggy app can’t login
Please fix login issue. I tried everything but still can’t sign in to the app.
Why list it as free?
The basic function of this app (streaming video from a server) is behind an in app purchase.
$11 per month to be able to download content to the device.
Greedy much? Basic feature hidden behind a paywall. A very expensive paywall.

Why all the hate?
This app needs some love in a review, so here's some. I am a long time client of another leading media app, who I won't, name, that started off being the app for the home user and turned into money grabbing bloatware. Emby is still the app and server for the home media fan. They have a lively and responsive forum where the developer team are active and their "Instant Mix" feature is every bit as good as Apple's genius, in my opinion. I'm a big fan of Emby in general, it's only a few dollars to buy the app and it has always worked well for me.
