eCrew – AIMS Native Mobile app for Apple devices.

Specifications, Features, and Characteristics:

The official eCrew app from AIMS International, is offered free of charge to all crew from all airlines which are powered by the AIMS Airline software.

With great emphasis on speed, data security, and a brand new interface optimized for mobiles and tablets, the eCrew app will greatly speed up the process by which you will review your crew schedule.

Fresh and friendlier UI, in line with commonly used platforms, allowing for easy interaction and navigation.

Technical Specifications:

Minimum iOS version 11

Once downloaded, crew will be requested to enter the necessary details in order to register the device with his/her personal account.

Required info:

- eCrew site
- Crew ID
- Personal Password

Biometric authentication is now available

This eCrew app version is clearly laid out, efficient to use, aesthetically pleasing and includes the most widely used features.

Very poor

Amateurish attempt by such a so called pro app

App keeps going offline

The app keeps going offline even when my phone is connected to WiFi. If I turn off my phone and turn it back on the app will only stay on line for a while before going offline. There is nothing in settings to allow you override this. Also it keeps logging me out, even if I have the keep me logged in highlighted. There is no option to contact Aims to troubleshoot any issue and there is no troubleshooting guide

Not fit for purpose

This app is extremely buggy. It has potential to be so much better but I frequently have to delete and reinstall the app in order to login. Also, the app will not stay logged in and keeps kicking me out (despite clicking “keep me logged in”). It also forgets your login details every single time. My confidence in the app is very low. Airlines should be pushing Aims for a far superior product.

Dreadful app

It lacks the readability and functionality of what we had before and crashes frequently. Not fit for purpose. I suspect it was designed for the small teams of airline crew admins and certainly not for the thousands of end users, i.e. crews.

Very poor

Our airline has begun using the ecrew app. The previous version of the web based software was far superior. The app is unreliable, has numerous bugs. Is it even tested before being made available?

Very underwhelming

We have just started using this app in our airline. It is dreadful. Lots of bugs and I’ve had to delete it and reinstall 5 times in 5 weeks or so. Very poor level of IT backend you would suspect.

Useless

Just introduced by my airline. Horrible format. Grossly underreads block times meaning good chance of busting legal flying limits. Should not be approved by any regulator.
