Do a better job with the iOS app it’s terrible. The playback doesn’t work. The CLOSED CAPTION doesn’t work and layout of the app is ugly. C’mon like put some pride and effort in the app and testing. If you want users to help you test people will do it.

I often have to restart the app when switching back to it after a while. I get black screen with no response. Reloading the app is the only way to make it work again. UI is clutter with no access to useful features. For example, you can quickly like or dislike a music track. You have to go through a bunch of menus to get there.
I love this app, it’s the only way I can watch movies and shows on my phone now that I don’t have Netflix/Crave etc. The only issue I have is that I can’t seem to delete downloaded movies after I’ve watched them… I can delete downloaded tv shows but not movies. This is a new issue, not sure if it’s a bug or what but other than that, pretty seamless.
It’s free on some Apple devices, but costs money on others.
lol. The main thing that this app would be used for is playing movies from your Emby server. But you have to pay extra for that feature. 😅
Don’t do this update if you use Chromecast.
Yay PIP is here for iPad! So excited. Been using Emby for years and this is an added bonus for sure. Emby is the best for setting up a home media server and being able to watch it while travelling etc too. 5 stars!
This desperately needs a portrait video option. I have files that were shot on a phone which are basically unwatchable in landscape. Frankly I’m not sure why this functionality is missing.
Man r you serious, i cant even stream locally without paying? Plex can stream free locally and pay 4.99 per device lifetime to stream externally. Jellyfin is free for all. Emby wants to collect money for local streaming? Lame af
