Must log in every time
Every time i start the app i must log in again. So annoying. This makes the app go from 5 stars to 1. Should be considered a core feature.

The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and the renewal cost is $6.99 USD. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

Server mkt instabil
Laggar o svåra problem med basis uppgifter så som tex undertexter iaf för mig. Tyvärr köpte/låste jag upp familjens tre enheter innan jag gav upp. Installerade om allt åtskilliga ggr på helt uppdaterat Mac OS men förgäves... Blev komplett avinstallation då det finns andra stabila server program att tillgå. Önskar man ångra ”upplåsningen” Men andra kanske får till det bättre än jag .
No proper buffering in client
Regret paying to enable playback. It does not have the basic functionality to buffer in the background when paused. This is a needed feature when paying quite a lot of money.
Garbage
Worst streaming app ever created. Rarely remembers last position. No +-15 sec playback functions. No color controls. Horrible menus and interface. Slow browsing of content. Free as it may be, it is still overall utterly useless and will decrease your life quality.
Video hangs
Video hangs and falls behind audio after pausing. Eventually will sync up extremely annoying. Work around solution is to just stop playback and resume instead of pausing.
Terrible
The app is awful. The Roku app is awful. I paid for Emby premier, it didn’t connect to the TV the entire time, and there was no visible way to do so. I finally canceled my subscription and they send me an email to allow me to connect to the TV app, this has got to be a prank.

Video hangs
Video hangs every couple of minutes, same video plays fine in safari.
Way better than Plex
I mean, know your competition, Emby is extremely lightweight and fast and isn’t trying to be a video streaming service that makes the app slower and slower and more unstable overtime. Worth subscribing as well for OTA and DVR features. I don’t really give out glowing reviews all the time but for Emby which has just worked for years and years now Im happy to.
