Money over loyalty

MK@2024 on

This app used to be my favourite one. I started using it more than 10 year ago when there was just a web option. Since then I’ve created more than a thousand notes on it. This year Evernote started to push its clients to a paid version. Which is reasonable and understandable. I would be happy to switch to a paid version since I use this app a lot but the way Evernote does it really disturbs me as a loyal user who used to recommend this app a lot. First Evernote limited number of notes that free subscription users can create (of course I am way over this limit already) and these days they applied changes to the number of devices that can be synced. All these changes were applied backwards to the users who are using this app since begging and joined on the different terms of agreement. I am really disappointed and feel like Evernote trying to push me away from my save space where I documented a lot about my life.

Greed

The greed of the people who run this app is just unbelievable. I can’t write any more notes without paying. I thought fine. I won’t use this anymore but I can’t see my notes without being online, which is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t even search my notes without a pop-up telling me I reached my limit. if the job is to drive away your customers then you did a good job.

1.Many things have been improved & made my life easy like ‘link notes’ options, & the home menu it is very intuitive now, a great relief, & kudos to your design prowess & the graphics icons are very lovely & pleasing & the app is a breeze to use & very easy to use & using is a pleasure & is enjoyable. Thank you. 2.But somethings still need improving, or they were good but your tweaking spoilt them: (a)Like ‘delete’ function seems to have been disabled now & it is not working when you try to delete a picture, through its ‘delete’ function. (b)Like when you highlight a picture, now the keyboard has stopped opening & I have to struggle to open the keyboard so I can use ‘x’ function to delete the picture, the 2nd option for deleting the picture.

One of the best out there

Evernote Support With Shortcuts (Natively)

ImVoid223 on

Saudi Arabia

Evernote is incredible! It's a game-changer for keeping all my notes secure and in one spot. I do have a suggestion that could really elevate Evernote’s integration into daily life. Currently, when using shortcuts with Evernote, it relies on the Evernote API, which can be clunky and limited. Instead, imagine if we could use the app directly—this would unlock its full potential without any restrictions! Additionally, Evernote Tasks has been fantastic since its release, but it's missing Apple shortcuts integration. Imagine how powerful it would be to manage tasks directly from shortcuts—creating new tasks, checking ongoing ones, or even editing tasks right from the Shortcuts app! Big thanks to everyone at Evernote for the incredible features. These suggestions are just my two cents on how we might enhance the Evernote experience even further. Keep up the great work!

I can't write down ideas or jot down ideas in a notebook

Why the limit?

I’ve been using this app for 3 years and it was fine until it decided to add a limit to how many notes you can make. There is no way I’m paying 16 sar a month just for a note app to allow me to write more than 50 notes
