Evernote - Notes Organizer

Hello, what I've realised that not many people getting what Evernote is, or can be used for, what we can achieve with it.. For my accountant lady I was explaining it is digital folder for her invoices - like having cases by years, inside different clients (Stacks), they purposes (Notebooks), currencies (but using Tags)... Or doing this organisation other way.. - and this by sending invoice to especial email which Evernote generate in its Professional subscription.. I think Evernote heading to long development yet, and its times just coming!..

I do use Evernote for several years but occur performance issues with application on iPhone /14pro and now 16pro/ and I problems to reach customer’s service. Think to move to proprietary Apple note pad if it will not change.

Evernote used to be my favourite notebook app for years - I was making everyday notes, writing thoughts from books etc…But these couple of years (probably like 3-4) it’s become more and more annoying. It first started with pop-ups to sign up for premium access. Then the urge to pursue me to buy their premium plan grew and grew. The pop ups became more frequent and more annoying. I was okay with it until probably March 2024 when I wanted to add a note to my notebook and it has occurred that I cannot add another anymore since I have reached the highest amount of notes per notebooks allowed for a non-premium access?!?? I have also reached the highest amount of notebooks too. And the plan is 15€ per month? For a freaking notebook app. I don’t even pay that much for an unlimited access for music apps. Ok I understand that they keep adding features like drawing and stuff. But I really only use it for my book quotes. So now Im about to move all my notes to an apple notebook, since it’s pretty decent and OMG, it has drawing feature too!! (Who even uses that btw?) So thank you for nice 10 years. You want a lot of money, I don’t wanna pay. Kind regards.

The quality has gone down extremely lately. Such a slow, laggy, unresponding and unreliable app. I’m in active search of a replacement.

App is slow, sync is unreliable and slow, app is bloated with useless features and poorly coded. Not worth the money at all.

Hi there, sorry but this is really horrible - the iOS Evernote app is the only note taking & productivity app which overheats my iPhone 14 Pro. Apps for editing and rendering movies have less impact on processor than Evernote app. And yes - I have the recent updated version of Evernote app and yes I have the recent official iOS update (not beta tester). Once again - guys it’s iPhone 14 Pro and note taking app. This phone is made to have enough power for huge media work and I can’t believe the hot iPhone when taking down notes in Evernote. Really terrible experience and I switched to the Notion app which work absolutely perfectly with no impact on phone’s heat. Just fyi. All the best Oliver
