Get notified of boarding, delays and other important moments during your journey. Your flight details are also kept in the app, from baggage allowance to diet restrictions.

Keep an eye on your Finnair Plus points, recent transaction and check tier benefits. By adding the flight to app while logged in, you ensure that you get all the points you're entitled to. Remember to join Finnair Plus if you're not a member yet - or use the app anonymously if you wish.

Terrible app

Doesn’t work. Won’t recognise check in so have to collect boarding passes at airport. Doesn’t update with gate details etc or when flight delayed. Says extras can be booked in-app but nowhere to do this. Chat facility useless.

Parasitic & Discraceful

Things go wrong; you have chat and a €1.70 customer service. No desk in Heathrow. No updates or help given on my delayed flight. Prepare for form filling and excuses. Often rely on shoddy legacy and partner carriers.

Upcoming is not upcoming?

Various past bookings, (manually entered using PNR) are showing in “upcoming flights”…

The best airline app I’ve ever used

This app does everything others do, and more. It notifies you of every step and any changes to flights. It has maps and a user-friendly interface. I’ve used most airline apps in Europe and this is the best I’ve used.

Apple Wallet

Hi does anyone know how to add the fin air ticket to the apple wallet because I can’t do it

Works but UX not great

Phone is not the greatest devise to check-in. At the end of the check-in process your should be able to see the details you entered just to double check and make sure no mistakes were made.

Cannot find booking. Buggy.

Booking was in app on my account. Was mid way checking in and I had to stop to get details. Successfully checked in via laptop. Went back to app and booking didn’t update. Still said I needed to check in. Laptop confirmed checked in. Uninstalled and reinstalled app and now it doesn’t find my booking ref. To confirm i can see boarding pass on laptop and on Samsung app. Just not on iPhone despite reinstalling app several times and regardless of whether I’m logged in or out of finnair account.

Terrible app check in useless

The one reason everyone downloads an app for the company they are due to fly with is for easy check in. Finnair app, was terrible. Couldn’t check in on the app can’t check in on the website. Also the app has a direct contact them via facebook and they don’t even answer your questions just give vague responses and really didn’t clear any of our issues at all we ended up waiting to check in at the airport which meant queueing unnecessarily if they could only build a decent app. Never had a problem with online check in with much smaller companies and shorter flights. The app gave me nothing more than my email of the booking. Terrible service and useless facilities. Put some time into getting the check in sorted and worry about the rest later.

Sleek

Best airline app I’ve used. The design is both stylish and intuitive.

Unable to check-in

Things don’t start well when something as basic as checking in fails. It’s 2019 and even regional airlines get it right. You are forcing the passenger to queue at the airport when for no reason. Disappointing. Will avoid in the future
