This app is a winner. Taking a pic of your food is so much easier than writing down your meals. The functionality is good - there are a few things I wish it could do, such as take more than 2 pics per meal (my meals are sometimes more like grazing!) and to be able to mark off how many litres of water consumed. But definitely worth the price.
I ended subscription through the Apple store before the new year or Christmas, but was still charged today for the annual amount for 2024.
If you don’t pay for premium. Pop ups every 3 seconds, maybe 2s
The interface and display seemed smooth and intuitive, but it was obnoxious to get through any part of using the app because of the constant pop ups pushing you to go to the premium service. I would understand having buttons visible and greyed out/otherwise marked as only available if premium, but not marking, and therefore meaning anytime someone clicks on something that is a premium service (without knowing!) they end up in a sign up for premium screen that you can’t get out of without closing the app, is beyond frustrating (on top of the pop ups that came up anytime I did anything - including what you can do for free). If you’re willing to pay, could be good. Otherwise, avoid.
So it says in app purchase. Not purchase to use the app. 7 day free trial is nothing really. Wish you would have said I will have to pay to use so I didn’t waste my time with it.
I paid for an entire years worth of subscription and it’s suddenly telling me to buy subscription again?? What the hell.. can someone help!
A great app for those suffering from food amnesia.
After my son was born 7 years ago I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and put on antipsychotic medication. I also use the contraceptive pill and have been diagnosed as having PCOS. I tried to get the weight off with calorie counting and had some success but it would always come back each time and with extra. I thought I was doomed to be overweight because of my conditions and medications. I was a constant snacker and struggled to keep track of what I was eating. I just wanted to have an app I could use to take photos of my food, so I could see what I was actually eating… Thank you for making this app!!! Through lifestyle changes and using See How You Eat, I have lost 2.5kg in just over a week! I know at a glance if I’m eating well or not and feel empowered to make food choices and I feel so much better.
I find this helps me to not eat outside of the windows (mindless snacking) and keeps me accountable without having to count calories… It would be helpful to have a copy and paste feature, to copy same meals over multiple days or to move meals around on the page, without having to fill up my phone with food pics….
