Ate is a fantastic App that has continued to help me in growing healthier. It helps me reflect on what I am eating, become aware of trends and also gradually work on change. I also enjoy discussing my food diary with my dietician to look at changing my diet when we meet. Ate has a lot of flexibility so you can use it in many different ways to help with you food goals. I am sure that you will find some work better for you than others. The developers are also very helpful if you encounter any issues. There are also regular App updates that continuously improve the App. I have been using Ate for over a year and have found it very useful. I highly recommend it.

A good app for tracking food without dieting. Needs more flexibility and smarts in the settings though. For example, one can’t change the time and date of individual meal photos once they’ve been combined. Also, the ‘how was your meal?’ question is asked after the standard amount of time even when entering a previous day’s meal, even when it’s already been filled out. Also I’d appreciate a lot more sophisticated stats, the option to track photos of beverages, and the possibility to categorise meals in different ways.

If you sign up the wrong way like I did with the wrong option, it does not allow you to go back and resign but FORCES you to do a seven day “trial” subscription. No customer service in the office during the day to talk to the come at specific hours. I’m not happy at all.

Been using the Ate App on and off for the past year. Over the last month I have been very diligent in recording everything and wow the results are really starting to show. I can more easily see the cause and effect of how I feel (health and mods) and my weight by simply reviewing what I ate the the past couple of day. The daily summary also lets me quickly recount how I have gone and motivated me to keep going.

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but was pretty unimpressed that I had to install and made an account before there was any information about the app being subscription only. I couldn’t progress past the ‘free trial’ offer screen without signing up for a trial.

Finally, the app of my dreams. So easy to use and helpful. I suffer with binging, this helps me with that out of control feeling. I don’t feel deprived because I can monitor if I am eating too much or not enough! Also helps me space my eating out, so I don’t feel sick all the time.
