Face ID does not function on iPad and iPhone.
It’s a total scam. I’ve been waiting for my return for months. Then got an email with scanned stamped document, that I’ve myself have stamped at the customs at the airport and submitted to the global blue post box. There’s no clear instructions in the email or app on what to do next. And why?! They’ve already have all my information and stamped declaration. I had to google that I have to print out the document they’ve sent me, include my payment information (that’s already registers in the app) and post it somewhere with the snail mail. There’s no option to upload documents in the app. What’s the purpose of the app then? It’s completely useless. Help section in the app just makes you go round and round.
Never add your card to this app, they will exchange at a fictitious rate and charge a fee for the privilege even between highly liquid g10 currencies. This is on top of their very high fees. Always take cash, always insist on the currency that is in the airport.
Crashes for every action. Crashes on attempt to review refund methods. Useless rubbish with no changes for years, expect for stupid redesign.
Global Don’t Pay Tax Back Within Their Timelines
Poorly worded app and you still have to stand ages in a queue behind other confused shoppers for the customs stamp
There is no tracking mechanism to know if your submission is correct and being processed. Or whether posted receipts have arrived or are acceptable... very poor
Can’t get a refund as no not chat available to tell me how to input my payment details. No way of contacting them.. So frustrating!
The latest incompetence - I received an email to take part in a survey on their Customer Care - the survey has been unobtainable for the past four days - presumably because they don’t want even more NEGATIVE FEEDBACK!? Says it all ….
Total waste of time trying to get your tax back of 1120.00 euros due to the fact customs was not open in terminal 2 told to go terminal 1 what a joke. Did have enough time to be going hear there & everywhere. Can’t understand why it can’t be done through the app.
