I very seldom leave a review for anything because it takes a lot for me to be irritated with something. But with this app, it’s a little more hard to maneuver in the structure that it’s setting up. I’m used to doing it by day. I have to do it by month on here and then whenever it comes to putting the time in, I have to remember to put the time in where I was used to be putting it in on the hour of that day. My biggest issue with this app is it has kicked me out three different times since I’ve gotten it a few months ago. And then when I go to login in, it will not let me login by my password. I have had to change my password three different times to be able to get into this app to see who I had come in that day. I’ve had free apps to schedule stuff and never had an issue out of them. If I’m gonna pay for an app, I shouldn’t have any issues by far. at this point, the only thing I’m paying for is it to send out a reminder to people and I can do that on my own. It’s not worth $24.

Here it is Tuesday evening and I have several hundred dollars I accepted in payments last week Thursday/Friday that have not been added to any of my payouts. The reason being is because I had to perform KYC. I would’ve liked to of known that that needed to be done before I accepted payment on the platform and had money stuck in there. I am extremely upset about this. This app is glitchy and very clunky and hard to use. Unfortunately, I am stuck with it now because I have advertised it to, all of my customers at this point. It took four business days to get an email saying that I needed to do that. I already dislike it very very much.

Love GlossGenius and can’t say enough good things about it. I have been in the industry for a while and it is definitely the best product. The company is always improving and I feel like I’m just constantly growing my business because the app helps me stay on top of literally everything. Obsessed!!!

Biggest flaw of the site is not being able to create custom pre set appointment times for your booking website. It’s inconvenient to only have the option of clients picking their times, it leaves me with large gaps in between my schedule. I would love to choose my own appointment time and have my clients be able to ONLY select the times I want available

They’ve been holding on to my payout for weeks, almost a month and I still haven’t received my payout of $2k+, I contacted their support several times and all they do is tell me same thing all over again. Terrible experience

We definitely need more than a 72 hour text reminder! Square offers way more… it at least needs a 2 hour reminder!

Very very very slow program!!!!!!

I’m a booth rent stylist and I’ve been using Gloss for about 6 months. I spring for the Gold membership to see if the extra perks we worth it. So far the only extras I actually utilize are the instant payout feature and the client forms. Not really worth the extra money monthly. Also I can’t stand the fact that I don’t get notifications when someone books an appointment. I don’t have my appointments set for auto approval so if I don’t regularly close out and re open my app, I have no idea when someone tries to book. When I’m working nonstop for hours and can’t check my phone, this loses me clients.

After holding Team member’s full week payments, four phone calls and numerous texts they still have not paid out. Every day this week was a promise from Gloss that it has been fixed. Not true. Not paying out money is a HUGE red flag. We never had a problem with PayPal or Goldie. We will be looking for a more reliable payment system.

I’ve been using gloss for a year now and love it for the most part, but there are things I wish could be changed. My number one concern is that I wish there was a way for my clients to have an account so that they don’t have to enter all their information every time they make an appointment, and so that they can go in and easily see when they have appointments already booked for. But other than that it’s so easy to use
