This app and it’s corresponding hub are trash
My title basically says it all but just to reiterate, they may be great when they work but they break too often to ever recommend. I’m just glad the previous owner paid for them and not me. Though I guess it says a lot that even for free I wouldn’t recommend it.
Beware - Volume buttons on iPad Pro 13 are reversed
Just got my new iPad Pro, and after transferring apps, I turned on the TV with the app. When I tried to use the volume buttons as I have always done, I discovered that they were reversed in the app! The buttons on the screen work fine, but the physical buttons on the iPad do the opposite of what they should.
Not working properly
The app performance is getting worse. I cannot even turn of the activities. The app gets stuck on the powering off mode. Harmony is making this app worse on every version . Disappointed
What the hell?!!
Why can’t they improve this app? I’ve been using it for quite awhile and it’s worse than ever!! 👎👎👎
Harmony doesn’t support its own products anymore.
I bought a remote 5 years ago that I used to control with this app. I tried to add my TV to the app, but it tells me I need to sign into a hub. I don’t have a hub, and I can’t log in from a PC, because that’s hooked up to my TV I can’t navigate through without a remote. Don’t waste your time with harmony products.
Garbage
Useless. Can’t connect to Harmony Servers. Guess they’re dead. I hate Logitech with the fury of a 1000 suns.
Harmony App & Harmony Hub
Been using this app and the hub for a few years now. It has always worked well. I hope Logitech keeps updating the app to keep it current with Apple and with entertainment hardware. 👍👍👍
Absolutely Terrible
This app is useless. The remote when it is working is great, however the app constantly tries to download and install software, doesn’t work at all. Waste of time.
Harmony is not what it used to be
Harmony remotes used to be the cadillacs of universal remotes. Now they can’t even control my tv wich is exactly the jobs that it’s supposed to do.
Terribly slow app, keeps trying to sync to cloud everytime you try to do anything (why does it have to sync to cloud just to open my tv?) then it doesn’t work and throws an error so i end up using my original tv remote.
Sometimes the hub freezes so you press the activity button multiple times because you think it didn’t get the commands then after 10-15 seconds it unfreeze and does everything at the same time so my tv turns on and off like 4 times.
Logitech discontinued the Harmony lineup but said we would still get updates and support yet they clearly don’t care about maintaining the harmony servers so they can run properly.
This is exactly why cloud devices are a terrible idea . If the company decides they don’t care about a product you paid for anymore, it just becomes a paperweight and there’s nothing you can really do
The most frustrating app. Harmony was better on Mac or PC
Configuration shouldn’t be as tedious and FRUSTRATING as this, especially for such an expensive product. I simply had to change my TV terminal, it’s been 3 hours and i’m still not able to do so. Fake errors with the Logitech Server that seems “OK” online, cannot simply connect to the hub or reset it properly without accessing its settings by LUCK. This is the absolute worst experience with a product. Harmony was WAY BETTER AND EASIER CONNECTED TO USB ON A COMPUTER!
