Trying to edit an activity sends me to a browser login page. I log in and it launches the app where my activities are listed. Click edit activity and the process is repeated ad infinitum. Apparently this has been happening to people for years. Logitech gets you money and calls it quits. They’re pc gaming peripherals are much the same. I will not be purchasing another device from this company.
We’ve had a Harmony remote for over 10 years and loved it. We were so disappointed when we heard that Logitech was dropping the remotes from their business. Yesterday it happened, our battery died and wouldn’t hold a charge. I took it to see if I could get it replaced, no success. I then look for an app. Yes I found the Harmony app and it works better than the remote!
App could use an update hut still use it regularly
Trying to add a device to the remote, but it’s impossible. You can use the desktop app to log in with a remote, but you can’t manage it and get a pop up to use the mobile app. Except with the mobile app it will ask me to log in to an account that doesn’t exist, otherwise you cannot change or edit anything on the hub sitting in front of you. If you try to create an account, you won’t be able to link it to the remote. So apparently the only option is to reset the remote and set it up from scratch.
Updated 12/15/24 Been using this app for at least 5 years. My last update was in 2019 and I don’t remember when I first started using it. I have a harmony elite with hub in my family room and an original harmony hub down in my rec room. This came with no separate remote so this app is the only way to control it. Especially since now there is no reliable way to use Alexa to do it. I used to use Yonomi but now it’s gone. This app may not be the fanciest and has its hiccup’s but bottom line, works quite well for basic functionality of tv, cable and Apple TV. This is all I need.

I’ve been using this app for years and it still works great. I’m using it with a Marantz Cinema 50 and I’m controlling everything with an iPhone 16 Pro.
This app is garbage. Half the time when it actually works, inputs through the app are delayed. Usually though I can’t even get the app to connect and run commands so I have to unplug the hub to reset it to allow the app to connect. When my remote for it dies, I am going to have to ditch the hub completely because of how unreliable it is.
Please bring the widget to iOS 18
I love this app and use it everyday. I just updated my new ipad to iOS 18. Unfortunately, IOS18 has taken out the Harmony widget that I used for quick actions like volume or turning everything off. Hopefully the developer will update the app to include a widget for IOS18. Any idea if this app will get updated to include a widget for IOS 18?
