Harmony® Control Reviews

Dissapointed

tonyvistnes on

Norway

I have been in contact with support for over a month, not getting anywhere. Hue bridge V2(!) support has been dropped (why on earth they say the V2 has been discontinued is beyond my understanding). Support giving me solutions and steps to go through, I have been testing their solutions for several hours, and been getting the same routine about 5 times. The app is almost impossible to use as a remote. The setup is timeconsuming and complicated. Also annoyed they removed Mac setup app. Too sad they don't do anything about this, as it's getting a lot of complaints, and sad this is the only option.

Bra grunnfunksjoner men med betydelige mangler

FRDRK A on

Mobilappen styrer hubben over wifi.

Widget should be a lot better

AlleBrukernavnErJoOpptatt on

For some reason, the widget stops working when devices are on different ssid's for the same network. I don't understand why. The app itself has no trouble connecting to the hub, regardless of which ssid I'm on. Why can't the widget do the same? Any other application+hardware works cross-ssid. I assume there are better ways of identifying a hub than by what ssid-name you were on when pairing. Also, why are the icons white? The background-color for the widget is white. Try your own widget when you have a bright wallpaper. The icons and buttons are practically invisible. By WCAG-rules, your icons should be dark/black. It would also be nice if the widget didn't have to display "connecting to hub" every single time I navigate to widgets. Can't you just load an offline-stored version of the actions from the previous time it was used, and the queue any potential action that are clicked - and then perform it automatically when it's connected? I'd much rather swipe to the widget, instantly be able to click "watch tv" and then be able to put down my phone, than the way it is now - where I have to swipe to the widget, wait for it to connect, then click it. Also, is there a way to customize the widget-controls for each activity? I couldn't find a way to do it. One of my activities don't have buttons for volume up/down on the widget, which is driving me nuts. I'd like all my activities to have at least volume up/down and mute.
