I ordered my first HelloFresh box last week. When I tried to pay my ANZ card, the apps showed it was not successful then I switched to Westpac card and tried again which showed successful gone through. I don’t know what’s wrong with their apps. However, I received two boxes this week and I finally found out that they charged my ANZ card for $25.51 (discount price) on and westpac for $95.51 (original price) one day after ANZ card charged. I called their customer service and they turned out to refund me $25.51 but not $95.51, which is RIDICULOUS!!! How come I need to pay for two boxes for $95.51 which I don’t need??? Then I called them again afterwards and their response was ‘why you didn’t check your bank account last week?’ EXCUSE ME? How come you talk with customers like this???? Anyway, they finally turned out to just refund me half of the $95.51 price and the next week subscription which I skipped one week before. I still can’t accepted that I found out they deleted all the bad comments on their Facebook page. Their apps is just a SRAM.
When I downloaded the app, it was English, but after I changed the country to the Netherlands, it all became Dutch. Very annoying, is it possible to just make a language switch button no matter which country you delivery/live.
This app is terrible
I decided to give Hello Fresh another try after several years. According to the app, my box was delivered at noon, but nothing ever showed up. I’ve canceled Hello Fresh for good this time.
While HelloFresh is convenient for your routine living circumstances, it is not worth losing money when going away on vacation or for business since you will be charged for the max. amount of boxes in your plan still. In other words, it is not flexible when you need to lower your meals for a one-off scenario. Mistakenly thinking I planned ahead and took care of only ordering four meals for the week we were traveling, I was still charged for ten. Some may not care for this occasional over charge fee, but I am trying to save money, not waste it. Customer Service was also zero help when I attempted to get a refund for this over charge. Instead the customer service representative, David, cancelled my account when I didn’t request that action be taken.
Healthy choices, kids love it. So easy to do! Best delivery meal system, hands down
We love the food and the ingredients. However, we are seniors living in a condo building. The boxes are too heavy for us. A few times we have had drivers that have helped. Today, was the best! She buzzed us, waited for me to come to the lobby because I couldn’t figure out our new system. She was kind and patient- she’s a keeper!
Need more variety
Customer service, when I have needed it , has been very responsive Generous portions, always as advertised, good instructions, Good variety of meals!
