3 meals delivered, produce was good the meat fresh. It was fun putting them together and easy. The add on’s were the chocolate and pineapple upside down Bundt cakes. They were extremely dry and tasteless .
Not the best
The app is super buggy, the meals are pricey honestly and the ingredients can be a bit stingy depending on the meal especially on cheese! The one thing though that really made me cancel was when I forgot to pick my meals and they just charged me 70$ for meals that grossed me out just mainly ground meat and rice stuff. Totally ruined my meals for the week. The fact that I paid 70$ without consenting is CRAZY. I’m never buying again

Life changing
I never used to cook. I would always go out to eat because honestly I didn’t know how to cook. HelloFresh changed all of that. The meals are delicious and there are many different options each week. The recipes are easy to follow and honestly taste better than going to some restaurants. I know what I’m eating because I can see the ingredients and prepare them myself. My health has improved significantly since cooking my own food. That to me is invaluable. I actually enjoy cooking now and see it as a hobby. My advice to you (America), take the first step toward a healthy life by cooking your own food, it could change your life too. The convenience is so beneficial for my busy life. Having all the meals delivered on the same day saves me so much time. To HelloFresh, thank you for creating such a great service. All I ask of you is to keep this product great, keep prices reasonable and keep creating great recipes. You do this and you’ll always have me as a customer.
Poor Customer Service
1st box was GREAT! 2nd box was GREAT! (Well the ice material busted on my items but thankfully no real harm) 3rd box was damaged in transit. They emailed me and notified they would refund me right away and offered 9.99 voucher. However, I couldn’t use the voucher and never got the refund. Called and talked to 2 representatives that really sounded like they were reading off a cue card on how to say “I’m sorry” and “I really apologize”… there was a delay and there was not a shred of empathy in their tone. I was out 60$ for a box of groceries and I had to go out and buy groceries. I had to call them 1 week later and THEN they processed the refund. 4th box was missing and ingredient card.. and a add on item. It was like pulling teeth to get refunded for items that never came to my home. They will get 1 more chance from me. I recommended this company to friends and family.. I hope I didn’t make a bad decision. There are so many companies to go with out there and this one seemed like a great fit.
Overcharge
I’ve been double charged for my first week with this new service.
Love this for years
I’ve tried other similar services. Hello Fresh has the least annoying packaging, the easiest to follow recipes, actual cooking but simple, great variety, great vegetarian and non vegetarian options and the website is not bad. Good for my teens to cook, good for my husband and I when alone to cook to keep us from a fridge raid meal; this is more of a date night. Real food that’s healthier than take out and tastier than my own cooking.

I love everything! My only real complaint would be that I said okay to spicy - which I love- but if I forget to pick, EVERYTHING they send is spicy! Not a true dig since I didn't do my part in picking, but still. They could tone it down for like ONE meal
Unhappy
Very unhappy with the delivery service. I’ve was melted and soaked through the box.
