#1 When viewing artists it should show album artists, not all artists in each song as there are multiple meaning when under artist tab I’m getting multiple instances (10-15) of an artist and all his various guest artists from every track!
#2 When viewing albums it should should show the artist. That is nowhere to be seen until you actually play it.
Functional enough
Mostly works fine but annoying that only the first 300 songs of a playlist load. There should be no limit or make it like 10k or something real high. Very annoying when you change your router it wouldn’t connect to Tidal for several hours.
App is useless
Trying to setup Alexa with my denon receiver. Have to setup a Heos account in the app but the app has no option to get to the Home Screen to create an account. Only says setup now and plug in then select avr then prompted that it can’t be setup, so no way to signup for Heos account. Wasting a lot of time for nothing. Have a denon

Keeps going from bad to worse
Another update, another issue… Now it is impossible to enjoy music via Bluetooth as there are lags in the song playing. Tried different phones and my three HEOS 1’s, only to always face the same isssue. Which is not present when using other Bluetooth speakers.
Denton/Marantz: last time I purchase any product of this brand. They now sell their name, but their HEOS 1’s do not live up to any decent standard (and it was the same on my AVR…)…
New version is a Step Back
I am not a fan of the new version of the iOS HEOS App. This version is not a fluid as previous versions in that you have to jump back and forth from rooms, scroll to sources, it just feels disconnected.
Looking forward to some improvements.
Awesome
Thanks for being awesome love the variety

favourites not working in new version
Heos messed up my favourites and keeps messing them up. I add favourites like siriusxm channels and later go back into favourites and they have moved around or are no longer in favourites. I don't know what is going on but this has only happened done your big refactor which I am actually not a fan off.
Update - Album art suddenly works again
Have to leave a 5-star review to balance out my previous 1-star review. Suddenly, the album art is updating again. Not sure if HEOS did something but my daughter remarked that album art was showing correctly for her, so I tried again and sure enough it was updating correctly for me too.
I have noticed that upon initial startup (like after restarting my phone, for instance) that the HEOS app DOES take a looong time to populate the main screen, so maybe it has to go off and “discover” everything that’s available first, and that must take awhile. But once that initial load is done, performance is pretty snappy.
I also really like the new UI design. The main screen is fully customizable, so I was able to put the things I listen to most at the top of the main screen, I can find my playlists way more readily, and I also like the intuitive way of switching between what’s playing now and the playlist.
So, yeah, good job on this release. I’ll spend a little more time with an app next time before leaving a negative review if I must.
