Amazing little online app, great access 24/7 to check all bank transactions incoming and outgoings, also quick easy access to money an so easy to make online transactions that are paid instantly in the comfort of your own home or wherever you maybe!! So easy to to it’s amazing. You can also get a global account added to it too and not only that every account has a savings account attached and u can make new saver goals now as well it’s fantastic..
I have been using the banking app for a long period now and it is good. But the reason why I have given a 3 star, is because I was forced to complain too a staff member last year 2023. How the payee’s payment format review needs to communicate a [date] and [time] whenever a payment is actioned to a payee after approval. Barclays excellently done well in such areas and has introduced a share feature whereby the accountholder can now share the payee’s payment details showing the time and date the payment was created and the payment can be transmitted to the payee’s WhatsApp Account or reserved as proof of receipt on the AccountHolder’s WhatsApp Account for evidence and a peace of mind. That is something to work on. Thanks for the chance to write this review.
I resisted online banking for years because I didn’t trust its security, well actually that’s not true, I didn’t trust my security. I didn’t trust myself to come up with a memorable password that a good hacker could not crack. But with branches closing left, right and centre I had to bite the bullet. And I have to say that having finally done so my banking life is so much easier. I just wish the app would allow Apple Strong Passwords.
Nice app able to do a lot on it. But I miss my local branch . For that human touch and able to pay in lose money. Shame hsbc closed branch.

The app works well but it can be difficult to navigate, and isn’t intuitive. The fact that transactions can’t be downloaded to use in budgeting, even in a .csv file, is quite disappointing.
Impossible to open this app at times as it states service not available when in fact it is.
Complaints dept fraud last Saturday 22june 24 was paying for car park at brewery Romford Essex man hassled me to put card in machine to pay I then got confused as I’m oap widow stressed through card was chewed by machine looked for security man to open machine ? He said I had been scammed stopped card by phone phoned police too late man had stolen 800 pounds the 100plus 50from Halifax Romford at 1.40 approx I drove home son visited he phone hsbc lady rude I went to police Sunday following day to report crime. Monday phoned hsbc fraud to confirm car no and crime number gave my voice is my pass word ….lady asked further questions ok but I cannot use phone to talk and go in app am 72yrs old widow upset she then slammed phone down …….. I have since made to car trips to Romford branch and staff with new card helped me new no money why are fraud staff so rude at a time I needed help hurt can’t sleep I’m not happy with fraud dept.
