Lack of Coordination between team and unethical behavior of reception staff.
Dear Team,
I stay in VOCO near downtown using as option of entertainer for two nights. Later on I requested to extend my stay for another two nights with the same option but in reply I received an auto reply email stating that office close and considering no room available I made booking to another hotel but next day morning I received call at my room extension that my request for extending my stay has been approved and rooms available.
I cancelled my booking with other hotel keeping in view that my stay already extended.
But once I approached the reception for the payment and said they don’t have any vacant room and I was forced to check out as requested option was not accepted.
Moreover, once I said please confirm my statement with your staff they replied that I have to wait for this for 1/2 an hour to an hour which I believe very unethical response from a staff of a 5 star hotel staff.
My visit was spoiled by the unprofessional behavior of your staff.
Being a IHG member we preferred the hotel chain under this a umbrella but now in future we must think twice to chose IHG network.
