Activation only takes a moment
You don’t need much to activate the app. Just a Dutch current account at ING, access to My ING and a valid identity document. This can be a passport, an ID card from the EU, an ID card for foreign nationals, a Dutch residence permit or a driver’s license.

Лучший банк в мире. Во первых можно бабки через банкомат закинуть и даже без карты пользоваться банкоматом. Ахуел я с того что мне на украинском смс дают в банке и сообщают об всяких изменениях о политике пользования на укр. Sns bank такая помойка по сравнению с этим. Никогда не пользуйтесь SNS bank. Там закинуть деньги можно было ток через один обменник на вокзале и когда они убрали эт функцию даж не сообщили мне никак ну прост бред. То есть даж нельзя у банкомата деньги закидывать я хз если снимать их там можно. Кароч юзайте этот банк лучший прост лучший. Оформить карту стоит считаные дни.

Problemen bekijken transacties in app
Na 3 x contact gehad te hebben via de customer service chat, geen definitieve oplossing ontvangen voor het kunnen bekijken van transacties in de app.
9 van de 10x ontvang ik een errormelding het later opnieuw te proberen.
Een enkele keer lukt het maar dat is zelden.
Zeer ongemakkelijk omdat nu constant moet inloggen via een pc.
Hoop dit kan alsnog opgelost!
ID Verification Very Terrible UX!
The id verification of this app has got to be one of the most frustrating apps I’ve used. I tried to sign up for my iPad and after almost an hour of trying I had to give up! Whatever backend api technology they’re using is terrible and doesn’t work.
Even if you succeed in getting the picture taken, it needs to be done within working hours because outside of that the app will force you to redo the horrible verification again.
With Rabobank for instance, all you have to do is if you already have the app installed on one device, is scan a QR code to get it working on a second device.
The product team of this app should be ashamed of themselves for this very poorly thought out experience! Worse part is it’s been almost 2 years, they claim to be “ working on it”.
Closed account without notice, and kept money
After a period of inactivity, ING closed my account without notice. I had over 500 euros on deposit, plus about 25.000 in points both of which ING kept and has refused to return. Customer support was completely worthless, and likely just hoping they could make the experience so bad that I’d simply give up. Prior to this I would have recommended them to everyone, but not now
App doesn’t work
When I try and login it asks “are you online” and fails. And yes I am connected to internet.
Compare to other internatinal banks…..
….ING is a real blessing. We also hold accounts at an American, France and English bank, they are all pathetic, obsolete, slow and complicated ( regarding online services) compare to ING.
Annoying adds and messages
I really hate this app. It shows around three offers or messages on the main screen, including insurance, asking for donations for all sorts of causes, etc. So the quick overview is lost. If you close the adds, which you need to do individually, they show others afterwards. There is no way to configure a “please don’t bother me all the time”. For instance, they keep offering me liability insurance, which I already have, but no matter how many times I tell to hide the add, it keeps popping up.
Furthermore, most of the app’s functions actually only direct you to the website.
