I love this app and have been using it for years. I subscribe to Plus. But there's a feature I wish they'd add. I want the ability to hide specific tracks the way real estate apps enable you to hide listings you don't want to see again. So many times I see a track that I think will benefit me, only to find out after listening for a little while that it's one I've tried before and it didn't work for me. Or I find a new one to try, and after listening I know I don't want to use that one again. I don't put bad reviews on tracks that don't work for me because there may be nothing inherently wrong with them and they may be great for other people. Some just don't resonate, and others can make me feel worse because of specific triggers. I think everyone could benefit from a hide feature. It would be a time saver. And since many of us have traumas or other triggers, a meditation that's good for most people could stir up a negative reaction in others. For example, I just listened to one with affirmations that include statements like "all is well" and "you are safe." For me, all is not well and I'm not safe. I have several very serious, prolonged, debilitating illnesses that destroyed my quality of life over the past 18 months (or 4 years, depending on how I look at it). I am not safe. My immune system is compromised. My life is potentially in danger. There are some heartbreaking circumstances in my family. My home is at risk. All of these things combined threaten my financial future, and I'm not young or healthy enough to earn extra money now. I'm undergoing ongoing trauma. All is not well and I am objectively not safe, these affirmations aren't true for me, and I react badly to hearing them~~~But they're not inherently bad. If you're stressed about your workload, or are frazzled because you had a flat tire today, but life is otherwise normal, a meditation like this can be very beneficial.
This is my first review of an app to ever submit, but as evidence of how much I enjoy this app I wanted to leave a review. I have used this app at least once a day, if not several times a day for a year plus. It has truly changed my life. What a brilliant idea …. A collaboration of teachers from multiple disciplines sharing their gifts! I use it for live yoga classes, meditations, and talks as well as recorded versions. My system usually works this way - attend a teacher’s live and then as I found an instructor that resonates I am able to go to their recorded meditations as well. I love the added where you can bookmark your favorites. This truly is an “everyday must” for me.
This update is HORRIBLE - No preview button any more, horrible for those with accessibility issues - Stop it with moving around the mood tracking, it’s clear you want the data so you can use it for marketing purposes and not actual beneficial UX. Nobody uses it because they don’t value it. This isn’t a productivity app like the Fabulous. - Stop cluttering the product with new features. I know Instagram has made ruining your product by copying everyone else’s features a thing, but their users don’t seem happy and their engagement is down. - If you care about which features belong where, use heat mapping or better product data tools from Pendo or something or hire me to fix it…. I don’t like a lot or any talking when I meditate so the non-plus, free version is perfect for me.
Terrible! It’s so difficult and time consuming to navigate. Please change it back.
I can’t even find my history to listen to previously listened to meditations, it used to be easy. I hate it! Will be looking for a different app.
I have tried different apps but I found that this one had a large number of mediations on different topics. I always found what I needed and am able to save my favorites.
They removed the preview function from bookmarked and search lists. For me, this is an accessibility issue. I have auditory processing disorder. A track that helped me sleep 4 nights in a row will suddenly change to something unbearable. So, most nights, I would quickly preview several bookmarked tracks to test my hearing before setting up to fall asleep. Before the feature was removed, I stayed on the same page to preview several tracks, very quickly and easily. Now it takes 5 taps if I want to “quickly” listen to a single track (choose track, play, pause, discard, back button to return to list). It’s very frustrating. Last night, it didn’t take long for me to give up on trying to identify one that would be helpful. I pay for an annual membership, and it’s unbelievable that they’ve made it more difficult for me to access content according to my needs.
Really good app helps resiliency I would like to teach here hope to record on your thank you for keeping it accessible to all
