Bug on Settings Page
Great overall for simple edits and video backups to iPad, but Settings page on iPad App switches iPad orientation from landscape to vertical and locks it into place for all other apps.
Awesome !
Easy to use, love that it hooks up to my phone through the wifi on the camera. And editing is so much fun!
Hard to keep downloaded videos organized
When exporting video clips to the iOD camera roll, videos acquire a new timestamp and loses its geotag their geotag (if there is an associated GPX trace). That information could be so easy to preserve programmatically, yet a huge chore to propagate manually since the app doesn't do it automatically. Also, a macOS app is desperately needed (even if it's just a variant of the iPad app): a phone has limited storage and battery!
Effortless editing
So easy to edit, quick and lots of options. AI works really well. I personally use it to not only edit videos from insta360 cam, but also videos shot on iPhone.
Garbage app
Cannot connect and just freezes upon opening the app. I deleted and reinstalled over 10+ times and still doesn’t work. Do you not test your software prior to release? Unreal. I have an IPhone 15 pro trying to connect to my Flow Pro Gimbal.
Spam central
I’d give this app a higher score but it spams me via notifications almost every couple days. It’s insane and beyond annoying. I’ve turned off notifications for this app for now.
Amazing 360 cams
We’ve been using the X2/X3 360 cameras for the last two years to catch our girls snowboarding, mountain biking, wake surfing, and getting outside! The best part is they can film themselves now and I get to edit later! Amazing memories and makes for excellent footage for social media posts!!
