Way Too Many Glitches

RocknR011 on

United States

This app has good ideas but has way too many glitches and bugs to be consistently good. And customer service just thanks you for reporting issues but does nothing to accommodate loss of use. I’ll stick with Apple Fitness.. do not recommend Joggo.

Awesome app

Awesomeee this app

Terrible functionality and not holding my breath for the refund

Kays123haw on

United States

The app is trash. Doesn’t automatically go to the next step of your run, so after my 5 min warmup it waits for me to hit “play” instead of automatically moving forward by itself. Same if my phone goes to sleep. I spent $60 on this app and was excited (especially since they offer a refund after the 26.whatever miles), but looking at other reviews it seems like I shouldn’t hold my breath for the refund. Save your money and go with a free app like couch to 5k, I should have actually read reviews instead of trusting the star rating and social media ads (duh to me).

Seems like a good idea

Can’thinkofNickname on

United States

Seems like a good idea but it’s also kind of a scam… they said I would get my money back if I ran a certain distance but the app doesn’t track my runs so I don’t get any credit towards that

They do not give you a refund

4ng3g0 on

United States

I have contacted the support team for a full refund since I bought the app for 60$ but I have not used it. It has been less than 14 days since I bought the app; they do not do full refunds; only when you request a refund in the first 24 h. Read the small print and be sure before you buy. I did not like the app interface ; and at the end it did not appeal to me. It does not look like a personalized plan at all. You just track your running? There is a million apps better that this for that. I feel it is just a media scam . Be careful before buying.

Horrible software

RDHamm8 on

United States

The app cannot accurately track software and isn’t user friendly. The customer service wasn’t helpful. DO NOT BUY!

Horrible app and very difficult to cancel

App is clunky at best and company makes it difficult to cancel subscription. Very disappointing- would not recommend.

Beware: Auto renewed with no notification/refused a refund

Foodiewithfamily on

United States

The app did not work out for me. I preferred the free version of Strava for tracking, goal setting, and motivation. I expect to receive email notifications before autorenewals go through, and to be honest, was no option NOT to autorenew this app. I was shocked to find two autocharges this morning: one for $66 and one for $25.81- both for Joggo. When I contacted them, they offered me a half refund and suggested I continue using the app… which would be great if I used it, but I don’t. At all. They keep referring me back to their refund terms and conditions which I would understand IF THEY SENT A NOTIFICATION ahead of renewal. Again, I got nothing from them indicating that it would renew, and they refuse to refund me. I might be tempted to try them again if it weren’t for the predatory refund policy. As it is, I’ll avoid not just this app but any other apps the group offers.

Some nice features but quirky and terrible Watch design

Singing Vegan on

United States

I wanted to up my running game as part of my overall fitness plan. This app seemed like a good tool to help me. Pros: the interface overall on the phone is pretty good, and I like being able to look at my watch and easily see what zone I am in. They did honor their refund after trying the app and logging 26.2 miles. However, it was not at an automatic email sent to me as they told me it would be. I had to send them email to request my refund. Cons: The first issues came because I use my Apple Watch and I don’t take my phone with me when I run when you finish a run on the Apple Watch, you end it like normal, then you have to say how difficult it was, then, even though there’s a little X in the upper left-hand corner, you have to scroll all the way down through the run information and tap the sync button or your run will not be saved. Then you have to go to the app on the phone and tap another button to count the run towards your goals. Not only is it a ridiculous amount of tapping, but it’s supe easy to forget that you have to scroll down and tap that sync button because no other app that I use on my Apple Watch works that way. The app has some other quirks as well. I wanted to change my goal weight. My goal is not to lose weight: it is to shift from fat to muscle. I couldn’t even set my goal weight as my current weight: it must be lower. When I contacted Support about these issues, responsiveness was mixed. Twice I had someone send me some generic information that clearly showed they did not read what I sent to them. The final answer they gave me was simply wrong based on my experience, but I gave up trying to tell them that there was a problem with their app.

Would not recommend

Trixi CO on

I have been frustrated with my experience with this app. Before you can have any recommendations for runs, you have to do a timed assessment. You cannot review your recommended schedule more than a week in advance, and this makes it very difficult to plan. I am more frustrated with the way that you can have your miles count towards goals (13.1 or 26.2). You have to have the app running with live GPS, AND you need to be running outside, for miles to count. They do not advertise this. You cannot log a run manually for it to count toward your goal. Lastly, I completed an 8-mile run that is not showing up as fulfilling a milestone of 7.8 miles, despite me running outside, with the app running, AND the app telling me that I ran 8 miles. Anyway, super-disappointing overall. I would not recommend it, as there are other fitness apps that are more useful and less frustrating.
