Fantastic

The best app I’ve used for learning Japanese characters. And it’s free! Please don’t change.

Best Japanese app out there!

I’ve only been using the app for a short time now, but I’m very impressed with it already! The lessons are short and simple, but really do help you memorise all the characters. Unfortunately, there is a problem where some characters don’t register as well as others. This doesn’t happen much in earlier lessons, (aside from す, お and ち) but lesson 9 is abysmal, to put it bluntly. ふ is definitely the worst of them all, but は and ほ are also troublesome. It doesn’t impact the experience too much - it only really makes the hiragana chart disappointing to look at. Despite this, I still recommend the app!! Definitely one of the best Japanese learning apps out there.

Review

I highly recommend this app. Recently downloaded it and it’s amazing. However, if you have a bad memory I would recommend getting a notebook for remembering the alphabet and words.

This app is great I am so glad so far that I found it. I had one I used to use but it was too advanced for me. It did not include teaching letter writing. This one is great it teaches writing. Let me see how it goes. I have only done the first lesson.

Great way to learn, small bugs when writing

I have been using this app for 2 weeks and I’m finding it really fun and easy to learn! There a few small bugs when writing や、と、and す which if your happy with it to tell you that your wrong, even when you have identified and written it as well as you can with you finger instead of a pen, then it great (it does bug me that my chart isn’t fully green though). Speaking of the chart, it’s great that it tracks what you are strong at and what you still need to practice, and making those the main focus in the ‘review past due’. Other than the small bugs it’s been a great learning app so far and I’m starting to identify letters and word which is making me excited to keep learning the language!!!

Thank you so much for this quick fix in version 1.5.19… Thankfully I can now continue with my learning… one of my daily apps I use to learn Japanese and personally an invaluable app… ありがとございました。
