- Non-Maybank customers: skip the queue at the branch and sign up instantly with just your phone to enjoy all the benefits of a Maybank customer.
The MAE app will seek permission for the following:
i. Access to your camera to enable you to scan QR code and also upload documents when you apply for a new product or service.
ii. Access to your contact directory to give you the convenience of selecting your contacts when you make a transaction to a mobile number.
iii. Access to your location to offer you the most relevant food listings, marketing promotions or deals by our merchant partners while you are on the go.
iv. Access to your phone’s audio to enable you to make a direct call to the bank's hotline.

Stupidest Finance Application
This is by far the most dumbest app ever made . Horrible hard to do transactions . Doesnt provide proper details . Lack of Efficency doing payments and transactions.
Stop trying to sell us stuff
Too many pop up notifications. If you want us to treat you seriously then treat your clients seriously too. Stop the ads. We just want to do our banking. This is not good for Maybank’s reputation!
Incessantly updating app
It is ridiculous app that keeps requiring updates. Every time an update occurs, users have to re configure the account from scratch. Extremely cumbersome
Too many pop-ups and advertisements
Unlike other good banking app, this app triggers many pop-ups and commercial advertisements following the PRC Chinese banking apps that are out to lure you to buy this and buy that, putting clients at extreme risk.

REJECT CODE 1201 !!!!
Super Useless
Super useless system. You can’t accommodate sending OTP to overseas number? Only Malaysian number? Kept putting up new system to make people living overseas life miserable!
Spamming my notifications with marketing stuff
Keep spamming without an option to disable marketing materials
Extremely slow
Please do the software testing before it launching. The app is running extremely slow. I couldn’t even access to any features after I login.
