Sheraton Sopot going downhill with poor management?…
I have been using Sheraton Sopot for about 6 years for business purposes in the Tri-City-Area, about 12-20 trips every year so well familiar with the hotel. For a while I have raised some comments about various issues and problems woth quality on rooms, functionality and equipment. This I have let known to front desk and given teports about - even met with representative for the tecnical department. In the 6 years I have frequented Sheraton Sopot I have experieced no less then four (4) GM`s. The new one started there last summer. For a few months I have met him 3-4 times, trying to get his attention telling him that I have several feed-backs to give him. However, he has not taken time listening to my experiences - showing poor management, not interrested in problems e.g. with broken doors, temperature issues with shifting hot and cold water in the showers, worn down and damaged curtains, hair dryers, drawers, chairs, stains and bad flooring, temperature in room, etc. On my latest stay this week from 15. Januar, I eas not able to get the temperature in the room above 20 degrees (it was minus 5 to 10 outside / winter weather) but the biggest problem was a really the bathroom wher it was maximum 17-18 degrees!,,, I therefor had to heat the bathroom with a hairdryer (that fortunately a d funny enough worked in this room), setting it on full speed/heat closing the door to the bathroom for 20-30 minutes, and heating up before I could shower in the mornings or when I used the bathroom. If the GM bothered taking time listening to me on my stays before, he could have had the oportunity to do something about these issues - avoiding this experience for me and actually also other customers I spoke to during the stay having similar experiences. So, going downhill with many things at Sheraton Sopot lately - in my opinion not being worth a rating for a 5 star hotel any longer, rather a 4 star minus or maybe even less. Seriously considering taking my business elsewere!
