MasterClass: Become More You

Bought the full year membership last year in one go. My suscribtion was ending 23.07.24 in which i had no intention of renewing. My account got charged yesterday for an other year !!!! Just checked my email, you guys sent me a notification saying that this will get renewed if i dont take any action. The email reminder was ON THE DAY that i got charged ! This is not acceptable!!! You can not send me a reminder email while i’m asleep and charge me 150 buck few hours later !!!!! I have sent several email, no one is reaching out

The videos have inspiring tone to them but no much applicable knowledge is shared but the teachers , the videos seem to be calling for attention (in some of the classes) more then actually revealing “how to” or “I done it this way” frameworks , yet some other content is good so I’d say it’s a bit and miss , not very consistent… 4stars is a good rating

READ THE SMALL PRINT! This app uses hostile design to make cancelling your subscription EXTREMELY HARD! You even if you cancel your subscription, money is still taken our of your account! The online guides to canceling subscription DO NOT WORK! I was charged over £200 by this absolutely criminal app! When you set up for a trial or downgrade your membership you ARE SIGNING UP FOR A YEAR OF PAYING THEM AT LEAST! This kind of hostile user experience design should be illegal. This app should be removed from the app store. Absolutely horrendous.

That’s it, very good content but I wanna kill myself with this app, such bad UX, terrible offline capabilities, hard to build and keep track of your portfolio of lessons. If only the tech was as good as the content, so frustrating!

So if I’ve understood this correctly, if you want to download lessons to watch offline whilst travelling you have to upgrade to a duo or family plan… even if you’re single?

This used to have the most talented , and skilled now we have the likes of Kevin hart on it, an annoying little man who is neither funny nor talented at acting and only gets picked by Dwayne Johnson for roles to keep him current. Quality over quantity would work better on this app.

It’s a great app for what it offers but would love more musicians, directors and composers maybe even a few more YouTubers. People like Jacob collier, Wes Anderson, Steven Spielberg, John Williams or Michael giaccino would all be great shouts. And in terms of others, I’d love more people in fitness for maybe tips on gaining muscle, losing weight or steps to running a 10K kind of content. Mr whose the boss would also be a great YouTuber.

As titled. Needless to say the quality of contents on there, but the app itself gets stuck a lot, I have to force shut down and reopen it. Happens more if you cast it. Browsing is fine, just don’t get into a video and jump out of video to the home page. I’m using an iPhone 12.

So I purchased the subscription where it says that I could watch the videos offline but the reality is that it doesn’t work. The App appears to be keeping on looking for network and blocks without accessing the videos that I have downloaded, it all works fine when I’m back online but spending a large number of hours in flights it is just annoying when I bought this with the primary objective of being able to watch the videos offline. The contents are good but had to give a below average because of this sorry.
