Ich hätte Miles gern regelmäßig geschäftlich genutzt. Ist leider nicht möglich denn der Schweizer Führerschein wird bei der Registrierung nicht unterstützt. Schwach.

Schweiz geht nicht
Hallo ich wollte in Hamburg ein Auto nehmen, musste aber leider feststellen, dass es mit dem Schweizer Führersusweiss/Wohnsitz nicht möglich ist 😕
Swiss license not accepted
Very disappointing. For context, I have been traveling between Switzerland and Germany for the past 6 years. In these 6 years, I have been able to use other car and motorcycle sharing services i.e Sharenow with no problem using my Swiss license. While the Swiss license might not be a EU license, it is a fully valid license in the EU. Additionally, Lichtenstein licenses are accepted, but not Swiss? Lichtenstein is also not in the EU. Furthermore (this is not intended as racism in anyway) but it is simply astonishing to me that EU licenses such as Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek, (even the Italian, French,etc.) licenses are accepted that are all STATISTICALLY easier licenses to achieve, and with much less information required for the license. Drivers with these licenses have comparably less knowledge of the roads in comparison to the Swiss licenses. I do hope this is changed because you are 1. Loosing potential Swiss customers that do not complain about the prices, and 2. Loosing those customers to your competition. I look forward to policy change in this regard as your product is indeed fantastic at the end of the day.
Swiss licenses
Not accepting Swiss licenses although this one is already recognized officially in any EU country. Miles was unfortunately not able to explain me the reason for it, nor to find a solution.
Driving license..
I’d totally use Miles as I super frequently travel to Berlin. However I’m a Swiss based German and therefore had to switch my license to for a Swiss one. However Swiss licenses are not accepted by Miles. The Swiss license of someone without German address also does not expire as states in other feedbacks.
Swiss drivers license not accepted
I cannot believe it, it is 2022 and Miles still does not manage to integrate the use of Swiss drivers licenses. For context: I moved to Switzerland 10 years ago, do I needed to change my German drivers license to a Swiss one. Now, every time I visit a German city, I am totally annoyed that I cannot use the Miles service, even though I have a Swiss drivers license that is 100% legitimate to use in the Schengen area. Please fix this, thank you. You are loosing all potential Swiss customers on their German holidays
Descrimination of Swiss people
Everybody talks about equality in Germany. But this company descriminates swiss people and does not accept swiss driving licences, although it is absolutely recognized everywhere in the EU. Never had problem with other car rentals before. And as i see Miles does accept all other european driving licences.
So bad! They don‘t accept Swiss driving license!
Tried to register from Germany with a Swiss driving license I was told it doesnt work for security reason! Stupid! With ShareNow I could do it. 👋Min
Ridiculous
If you don't have a EU driving license, you can't use the app or service. I have a Swiss driving license, this is NOT acceptable. Totally ridiculous!
