Poorly Designed App

No means for a customer to cancel when the driver is more than 15 mins late and notifications regarding rides are broken links which do not actually provide any taxi tracking or correct contact information for the driver.

Good and reliable prebooking

I am using it mainly for airport transfers and has been proven to be reliable and reasonably cost effective. Some minor issues with the collection and pick up times had been addressed directly with the taxi company. Overall good service.

Decent app but taxis hit and miss

No issues using the app but regarding bookings themselves, service varies quite a lot. Plus whenever they offer voucher codes, discount cap is low, usually only a few pounds.

Best service

This is the best service by far. Even had a baby chair - and did not even had a chance to think about that…

Unbelievably poor

I used this app to book a journey 2 months ahead of time. Out of courtesy I thought to call the taxi company direct on the day to make sure my ride was still good for that evening, only to be told that it’d been cancelled weeks ago. No emails, no notifications, nothing. The ride was still showing as booked in the app. After chasing for a solution for 6 hours (which completely ruined my evening) I was then asked to give them more time… 6 hours to find a taxi for 4 people. Then they cancel the trip leaving myself and 3 colleagues stranded 45 miles from home. Needless to say, the costs I then incurred were significant to make alternative arrangements as it was then after midnight before we found another taxi. Do not rely on MiniCabit if taxis are your only option.

Handy

Minicabit is easy to use and we can always find a deal for myself and my partner who is a wheelchair user. There is always a variety of cabs to choose from. Melissa

Easy to use and taxis are very reasonably priced. Taxis have always turned up and drop offs have been smooth and straightforward.
